Sheer color lipsticks last longer when applied over defined lips. Use our Lip Pencil in a coordinating shade to shape and contour your mouth. Beginning in the center of your lips, use VL Brush #35 or #36 to paint a thin layer of Lipstain SPF 15 color. Completely paint lips up to and including the lip line. Blot and paint a second layer of Lipstain SPF 15. |

Oh, I'm so disappointed! I really wanted this to be the lip stain I would use forever. I did not care for the color. It did not live up to its description. And I don't feel this is a true stain. It just felt and looked like a sheer lip color. It certainly did not have the staying power I would expect from a stain. I'm still searching for a good lip stain...

This is a nice lip color. The color is very sheer but can be layered for a deeper stain. It is not sticky or thick like other lip colors and it is very moisturizing. It reminds me of "softlips" without the menthol. The only downside is it wears off pretty quickly. But it feels so nice, I don't mind re-applying.

Perhaps it is too early yet to tell, but so far I am loving this lipstick. It looks like a dark brick red in the tube, but goes on the lips as a lovely sheer. Not bright or screamy at all. It is the perfect everyday red, giving the lips a nice, glossy, moist look. It feels good going on, too. Very "buttery", but it seems to last well. The SPF is great, too. I didn't find that it slides around on the lips or slips into lines around the lips either. It can be easily applied without a mirror, so don't let the dark brick red appearance in the tube deter you from trying it. This will be my everyday lipstick for work and casual when I want more color than a neutral.
