I bought this for the all natural, safe ingredients and because of the fabulous smell. I need a daily moisturizer for my burns (45% of body, 3 rd degree so I don't have the oil glands anymore), but avoid products with chemicals known to be potentially dangerous if absorbed. The smell most closely represents real gardenia of anything I have ever encountered. If you are bothered by strong scents I wouldn't recommend this. Its natural oils are easily absorbed and used by the skin for effective moisturization. It's a bit pricey but I will continue to purchase this unless I have financial difficulty.

I love this lotion! It's very rich and creamy, and makes my skin really soft. I've tried the Spanish Gardenia and the Thai Honeysuckle, and they smell like fresh flowers from the garden -- very light and natural, not heavy or chemical at all. I strongly recommend them if you like fresh one-note florals.
