I have been using bare minerals curling and lengthening mascara, but I wanted a mascara that focused on increasing volume. I tried this. I tried it within days of receiving the mascara from beauty.com. I could barely tell I was applying mascara. I go for a natural look and am not one to apply mascara excessively. Yet, I have to put on at least 5 coats of this mascara before I can tell that there is any on my eyelashes. It takes forever. I suspect I was sent an old vial of the cosmetic, as other reviews of this product are positive. I will not purchase again, and I'm going to think twice before I purchase from beauty.com again.

I am a senior with very fair skin. This product does not make me look like I have racoon eyes. The brush could be longer and fuller.

Amazing when applied correctly. If you are in a hurry this mascara will clump as it is very thick. Does not flake or smudge a bit - I work retail and can wear this for a full 12 hour shift, go out at night, and never have to reapply. TRY IT!

This is my favorite mascara ever, and I've tried nearly all of them. I was using DiorShow but switched to this one, as I found it flaked less if I used a lash curler after applying. I have long lashes that are thin; this is perfect for building up volume. It lasts forever (I sleep in it), and unlike practically every other mascara I've ever tried, it does not ever leave me with raccoon eyes. It's not waterproof--I think they have a waterproof version--but it has superb staying power, even when I've been splashed by the pool or at a water park. Plus it comes off easily with any remover. And I usually use a tube for at least 4 or 5 months before getting a new one. This is the best there is, in my opinion.

I think I will stick with Great Lash or if I have a little extra money, purchase Bobbie Brown's mascara.
