This is the best scrub I've ever used, and I've used them all. (Seriously, ALL of them.)I have oily, sensitive, large pored skin, and this is works to make my skin normal! My skin looks and feels so much different! I have tried my whole life to get these results, to no avail. Until now. This is a great product!
The granules seem to be evenly shaped, therefore non-harsh, and there are lots of them, so they get the exfoliation job done, no question!
After I use this, my face actually feels smoother immediately- it is truly amazing.
My only caveat is the smell. It is not cranberry. My husband and I have finally figured out exactly what it smells like... "Porta Potty" or public restroom deodorizer! You know, that cloying, non-specific sweetness....oh, it's just awful.
I first got this as a free sample, and I almost threw it away because of that smell. BUT, I'm really glad I didn't, because it is absolutely, hands down, the best scrub that I've ever used. (I have grudgingly learned to endure the smell...)

I've been slowly but surely trying all the Arcona product line. This one is not as fabulous as the rest so far. While it is mostly natural ingedients and high quality content, it performs like the apricot scrub we all bought from the drugstore as teenagers. This product needs to pack more wow for the price. It underwhelmed me. I will continue to be a fan of Arcona, but will skip this next time I re-order.

I used Clinique 7 Day Scrub for years but it always seemed to do a so-so job. My skin is very sensitive to fragrances in skincare and I'm reluctant to try new things sometimes. As I've gotten older and used heavier moisturizers, I noticed more clogged pores especially in the area of nose and chin. I'm on my second tube of this gommage and I do see a big difference. I've also been using the Raspberry Clarifying Pads which I also think work well. This gommage is very gritty and you can apply as much or as little pressure as desired. Quite frankly, my skin was looking a little dull and it has definitely improved. I used it 3 times a week and will be buying more.

This is hands down the best physical scrub I have ever used. I generally prefer chemical exfoliants and still continue to use them but I have been using the Cranberry Gommage (along with many other amazing Arcona products) 2-3 a week for almost a year. It makes my skin feel incredibly smooth and does an amazing job unclogging pesky pores. I don't get breakouts at all anymore, aside from the occasional hormonal chin/jawline blemish (didn't very get many to begin with). I've recommended it to a few friends and the Golden Grain Gommage to my mother, everyone absolutely loves it, one even said he feels like he has a "new face" after using it.
PS it is amazing for getting rid of rough dry skin in the winter, a must in the midwest!

This product really did nothing for my skin. I started using it in the winter hoping to exfoliate dry skin. I used as directed - a couple times a week and saw no change at all. The exfoliation seems a bit harsh but I had no adverse effects. In fact, no effects of any kind were noted even after using the product for a couple months.

As others have mentioned, it comes in a tube, which is great because it's more sanitary than a jar where you would be scooping product out with your fingers. I don't smell any cranberry or fruit - in fact, it smells like baby (diaper?) lotion to me, which is a very calming, soft scent so I don't mind it at all. Now the important part is that IT WORKS GREAT. I am not exaggerating when I say after using it only one time, my makeup went on smoother than it EVER has before. Yes, it's expensive... but IT'S YOUR FACE! It's worth it. You're worth it. And this should last a long time, so in the long run you're really only paying 40 cents or so per day for wonderful, smooth skin. I used to use philosophy's microdelivery peel before this (its more of an exfoliant than a peel) and this is SO much better.

This is the most amazing exfoliator I've ever used. The grains used to exfoliate the skin are SO fine, they don't irritate at all, they just do what they're meant to do - exfoliate. I will never use another exfoliant again; this is a must-have product that I couldn't live without. Super-highly-recommended! (Note this comes in a tube, not a jar as pictured on the website).

I tried this line after my sister recommended it to me. I've had acne, blackheads and clogged skin my whole life, with nothing really helping it, and I've tried many, many lines to no avail. I've had the most success with Arcona, though it is a little intense - I equate using it on your skin with starting a new, radical diet. Both shock your system, and you go through withdrawals of one kind or another before finally becoming used to it. I saw results within the first week of using this scrub (along with the other items in the Problem Skin Kit, which they do not offer here for some reason), and continue to see good results a few months later. They recommend using nothing but their products for the first chunk of time, and again I equate this with a diet - you have to get your skin accustomed to healthy ingredients first, then you can start adding other things back in. My skin, while usually frustratingly oily, has begun getting dry patches, but all I have to do is apply some of my favorite moisturizer to the dry parts and all is well. This scrub was the first Arcona product I ever tried, and it got me hooked. My skin looked and felt so great after using it, I immediately headed online for further investigation, and ended up buying a travel kit. This scrub is a bit intense, and should probably not be used every day (except in extreme cases), but used in moderation, it has made a world of difference in my skin's clarity, tone and color. I love the size and texture of the granules (who knew simple sugar could work so well?), and that a little goes a long, long way. I would recommend this regimen to anyone with problem skin.

I usually use this every other morning after I had used the Arcona Gentle Solution the night before. The Gentle Solution pulls stuff to the surface overnight and the Cranberry Gommage sloughs it all away. Great product, long lasting and have used it for 3 years. It is great for skin break-outs, as well as anti-aging. My skin glows after the use!
