I have been using this about 3 years, ever since discovering it. This pencil is the most natural of ALL of have ever used. You can also fill in your lips with it and apply gloss on top for a VERY natural lip color. All the stories about lip liners showing and looking harsh, never have to worry with this pencil. It is THE best and I don't know what I will ever do if they stop making it. In fact, I buy another one every few months just to have a stockpile of them. I know NOTHING great lasts forever. Try it and you will absolutely love it if you are looking for a natural lip pencil to help define your lips but not noticeable lip liner lines!

Kevyn Aucoin The Flesh Tone Medium is advertised not as a lip liner but as a product that is the color of your skin and keeps your lipstick in place. The only colors are medium and dark, and I should have known the medium would be too dark for me. It is WAY too dark for me and is really more like a brown lipliner, so it doesn't do what it says it's supposed to do. It is very creamy and if you like brown lipliner, the color is nice.

Comments about Kevyn Aucoin The Flesh Tone Lip Pencil, Medium, .04 oz:
My new favorite every day lip liners. I have 3 colors of flesh tone pencils and use them every single day as a lip liner and a lip stick. Love these as they are the most natural color for my lips.

Comments about Kevyn Aucoin The Flesh Tone Lip Pencil, Medium, .04 oz:
This Kevyn Aucoin Flesh Tone Lip Pencil in Medium is darker than the picture. It's a light brown. They often do that & I don't know why. It is really difficult to find a true Nude Liner. Companies should really reassess their "nudes". I recommend Tarte's Universal Lip Liner. It's a nice Buff Nude.

Comments about Kevyn Aucoin The Flesh Tone Lip Pencil, Medium, .04 oz:
I am surprised that reviewers are calling this lip liner too dark. I am fair with pink undertones, and the color is a pretty good match for my SKIN -- and that is my chief complaint. I suppose it's my own fault for having high expectations for a *flesh*-toned lip liner, but how many of us have lips that match our faces? If this lip liner had just a hint of rose in it, to come closer to the pigment in my lips, I'd call it a perfect match. As designed, however, it looks like I am penciling in foundation on my lips, which is great if I want to make them disappear. I don't dislike it, but I won't buy another one when this one runs out. I was hoping for something along the lines of my-lips-but-better, but this lip liner did not deliver. For a closer (albeit darker) match, I prefer MAC Spice or NARS Borneo, but my search for the perfect lip liner continues.

I actually disagree with some other reviews that the medium lip pencil is too dark for fair skin. I have fair skin and the medium lip pencil is perfect for creating the illusion of plumper lips... it's the best lip pencil I have ever used (and as a make-up junkie, I've used plenty) for creating the nude lip/dramatic eye look. Try it; you will be a loyal customer for life!
Comments about Kevyn Aucoin The Flesh Tone Lip Pencil, Medium, .04 oz:
Fantastic texture, but WAYYYY too dark for my skin tone. I wish they made a range of shades. In a lighter shade, this could become a staple item.
Comments about Kevyn Aucoin The Flesh Tone Lip Pencil, Medium, .04 oz:
It looks great, but does not match my fair skin color. I wish they had more shades to choose from, because the medium color really fits a medium-tanned skin color. Otherwise it goes on real smoothly, and with just clear lipgloss it looks great, but it does look like I have a shaded tan lip color.
