I have thick hair which is color treated, so it's very dry. When I use this conditioner, though, the texture of my hair is greatly improved. It feels very soft and smooth without a residue or film. There must be some product left on it, but it sure isn't obvious in feel or appearance except that my hair feels and appears better. I have noticed a slight increase in shine as well, but my best benefit is the texture. The only reason I didn't give the product a 5-star rating is the price. It's very expensive, and my thick dry hair absorbs it like a sponge. I still buy it, though, so that should tell you something!

I purchased this product after a treatment at Phyto Universe at their recommendation. My initial feeling was that it left my hair a bit dry. But the more I use it the more I like it. It keeps my hair silky and healthy. However, I used a Kiehl's conditioner for dry hair and that too made my hair silky and shiny. It probably is my shampoo - I use Phytoprogenium which is the best shampoo I have ever used. This conditioner works well though, and it makes my hair very healthy, silky, and frizz-free.

I love this product! It smells amazing and makes my hair so soft and shiny! I have also noticed that I experience much less breakage when I use it. It gives me a nice sleek look, but not so sleek that I can't style my hair. The only thing that is a drawback is that I have to use quite a lot of it at a time. I have very thick hair and it tends to really absorb moisture. A bigger bottle would be great for me. But I still love the product!

This is the best conditioner I've ever used. I only need a small amount (less than a dime size) to work through my short hair. I also skip the towel-drying step and get truly wonderful results on my highlighted hair.

Only conditioner that doesn't leave my hair limp! Tip for those who say it's too expensive for too little conditioner: You need just a dab, dime or (depending on need) nickel-sized, compared to a tablespoon or more of other conditioners. I've used this product for nearly 20 years. My hair is fine, the top layer gets dry and frazzled, and at 50, my gray is stiffer and wavy. I've tried over the years to find a cheaper alternative, but they leave me looking like a drowned rat. This is the only product that leaves my hair healthy, shiny, and full-bodied. I usually use a dry washcloth to get excess moisture out before I apply it (the original instructions) and then comb it through for complete coverage. But the towel-dry step isn't necessary; I skip it when I'm in a hurry. Wonderful conditioner. I'm so glad to find it here where it comes straight to my door, and I don't have to make a special trip to a salon. Love this stuff! Thank you!

This is a wonderful product. It doesn't leave a filmmy residue on hair, smells great, and it leaves the hair (well, at least my hair) very soft. I would recommend this to people with African American and Hispanic American hair types.
