i bought these based on good reviews since my hair is thinning. i used for one week and did in fact get really bad constipation. i discontinued taking these pills so i am unable to tell if it work or not. it probably work for others but its not for me.

This product is original in that in combines, essentially, a multi-vitamin with the ingredients of a good Omega-3 supplement and rice bran oil (from which y-Oryzanol is made.) If the y-Oryzanol is the "key" ingredient to this product's effectiveness,then it's worth the money. Otherwise, you might want to try just taking a multi-vitamin and a good Omega-3 every day. You'll need to compare the ingredients, but my "similar products" list those that have the same ingredients, in actually higher doses. You can also find oryzanol by itself. Total cost for the three products that will last you 2-3 months would be around $32.

Taking this every day as directed along with Barlean's omega swirl - Omega 3, I started to see a dramatic change in my brittle hair starting at about 6 weeks. Verry happy, I'm ordering another bottle!!

I have been taking Phytophanera w/ Vitamins for 1 year and have noticed an amazing difference in my hair and nail growth. You have to be consistant once you start. Within 3 weeks it was apparent it does Work !! I take 2 daily without fail. Totally worth every $ spent !!

Took for 3 months. Noticed no change whatsoever in hair or nails. And to top it off caused constipation!!! Not good for me.

These pills are amazing. As someone who takes supplements daily, I was astonished at how quickly I saw results. Within a week; I noticed a line at my nail beds which marked the time when I started taking these pills. The line has since grown out and as it grew- I realized the the area behind the line (new growth) was considerably stronger and thicker than my natural nail. I purchased these to improve my nails but I have certainly noticed major hair results as well. I am bottle blonde and I bleach my roots every 4 weeks. I expirenced 4 weeks of hair growth in just two weeks. Over all my hair has a softer texture and my skin looks great. I am hooked.

First off, I'd like to respond to the above comment about there being hydrogenated oil. If you knew your basic Fatty Acid Chemistry, you would understand that Hydrogenated oil (which means FULLY hydrogenated oil) is completely saturated--therefore, there are no double bonds and NO trans fats. Only PARTIALLY hydrogenated oil has trans fats because its unsaturated.

Anyway, back to the product. I am very pleased with it. I've been taking it for several months now, and my hair is so much more luminous, thick and healthy, my nails are thicker and my skin definitely has a nice glow to it. So all in all, its a great product and it does what it says if you take it on a regular basis.

My hair was falling out about a year ago and even more so when i started dieting. I began taking these vitamins and my hair started growing back immediately. I have started another diet and eating less, and my hair has not fallen at all. I take these vitamins consistently. For the price they better be good! ;-)

I bought this as a last attempt to help my dissolving nails. Have tried ALL kinds of supplements with NO success. After 2 1/2 weeks I can see a HUGE difference in my nails. The shinny plate is just about fully back on my nails. Think my hair also has more shine. I am so sensitive to most supplements but these are easy to take with no side effects. Well worth every penny!
