coloring my hair.
it throughly cleans without stripping or fading my color

The only good thing about this shampoo was its scent. It completely dried out my hair, sucking the moisture out when I applied it. It doesn't lather, which is a plus or minus depending on your outlook. I had to deep condition my hair after using this, and threw the bottle in the trash I was so aggravated at being deceived. Should have known, grapefruit and dyed hair don't mix!

Was not impressed! For the price, I expected more. This shampoo has an odd, unpleasant smell, and never did work into a rich lather. My wife has long hair, and complained that it didn't feel clean after using this product. BEWARE the glass bottle, especially if you have children.

If I use too much shampoo, my hair becomes lifeless and dry. I always feel like I'm not getting my scalp clean due to the nearly latherless application, yet I find that for at least a week after professional color, my hair is wonderful with Phytocitrus shampoo...I just have to remember to use very little shampoo. I think the mistake is using too much, expecting that more will improve lathering. Too much is drying.
I get two good weeks out of this shampoo. And the best test
is to use it exclusively right after coloring.
By week 3, my hair is lifeless again...and I'm not sure if that's because of the shampoo or other products I use afterwards or does coloring do so much damage that this is the outcome for most of us who applied peroxide or ammonia to our hair..I gave the shampoo 4 stars simply because it starts out really great...but by week 3, I have flat, dry, lifeless hair again, no matter what shampoo or conditioner I'm using.

I just tried my small size that I got in a PHYTO kit today and I am back to buy the biggest bottle I can find. It didn't dry my hair out a bit, but left if soft and shiny. I cannot keep my own hands our of it!! And the smell is GREAT and so are all the scents in the conditioners and treatments. If you find the regiminen that suits your hair type and goals, you hit a home run with this brand in my opinion. I used to think expensive shampoo was a waste of money -- not amymore. When your hair looks beautiful, you feel beautiful. That is worth a few dollars more a month to me. These products made a HUGE difference in the look and feel of my hair on the very first use. Best I've ever tried -- no contest!!

This is a wonderful product. Like the oil treatment, I didn't notice an immediate difference, but after using it for several days my hair was completely different. I usually have dry, brittle thick and frizzy hair, even using expensive products. I've now used this product with the conditioner and oil treatment for 3 weeks, and my hair has never looked better. I live in Texas, so anything that keeps my hair shiny, soft, frizz-free, and DOESN'T weigh it down is worth its weight in gold.

I will say it was A LOT better than the Phytojoba, which left my hair a little weighed down. Although, I found this product to be just mediocre, especially for the price.

While my hair retained its color, it hair was really dry after using this product. I think I need something that offers more moisture. I love the smell, but I would prefer a bit more lather.

Smells great, cleans well, and really helps retain my color and highlights. The only thing that is a bit of a negative is that it doesn't lather much at all, so I tend to use more than I need to; at this price, that's not a good thing! Overall, a great shampoo.

I just don't get it. It is merely okay. My highlights were getting old and it is the middle of summer so I can't blame the shampoo for not saving them. It did seem to help tame my hair during the humid season but I'll go back to Kerastase. Ditto all the other comments on the annoying glass bottle.
