I took about a year's break from using these "peel pads" and tried just toner instead. I've gone back to usiing them every other night and the results are still great -- softens skin, evens out skin tone, and minimizes fine lines around the eyes. These pads are a great way to multi-task, and I hope that the company doesn't fiddle with them the way it's done with other philosophy products.

This is one of the few gentle, non abrasive, exfoliaters on this site and it is convenient to use. I like products that have combination of uses to simplify the regimen - this will work as a toner and trace makeup remover (and possibly light moisturizer) also. The problem is that this product was an attempt to find an alternative to the more expensive Somme Institute Transport Pads but turned out to be a inferior choice. Does it work? It stings much less and is probably better for sensitive skin than the other. I didn't notice quite the results I was used to with Somme and [$] is still expensive if you're looking for something that gives you noticeable results. On a positive note, if you are a true minimalist, this product almost leaves skin feeling like it doesn't even need a moisturizer after it (depending on your skin type). A little sticky perhaps but not bad.

Comments about philosophy the microdelivery peel mini peel pads, 60 ea:
I have used these pads for years and have been thrilled with the results! But perhaps the best endorsement came from a fellow patient in the hospital room I shared after I had an accident.I woke up to find this woman staring at me in my bed, using one of my Microdelivery pads. She remarked that I had the most beautiful skin she had ever seen- "like a baby's," she said. (A considerable compliment, considering I was pushing 50!) She said she was going to treat herself to the pads when she got out of the hospital, so that her skin would look like mine! After my accident, I was disabled, and for about 8 months, I couldn't even wash my face, let alone bother with my pads and other Philosophy products. My face looked so hagard and aged that I couldn't stand to look in the mirror. I finally began using their products again, beginning with the Microdelivery pads, which made my face gradually feel so clean and soft, and began diminishing the deep wrinkles in my face that I had felt there had been no hope for. Within DAYS, the wrinkles started to disappear, and within a week, my face looked 10 years younger! I can't say enough good things about the Microdelivery pads- they leave my skin feeling clean and soft, moreso than even deep scrubs (which I have stopped using). I use the pads twice a day- morning and night, for optimum exfoliation. They are great for travel, too, as I tuck some in a plastic "snack bag" and am good-to-go. I keep these pads in the refrigerator to keep them extra cool and refreshing...just a tip.

Comments about philosophy the microdelivery peel mini peel pads, 60 ea:
I too was looking for a less-expensive replacement for the Somme Institute Transport Pads, but I didn't find it in this product. They simply didn't have a fraction of the effectiveness. For the budget-conscious, $58 for Somme is a heartbreaking amount to spend on a beauty product that will last only a month and a half, but it's a price you might have to pay if you're truly looking for what the [$] Philosophy pads say they'll deliver.
