I really like this gentle scrub. I had received a sample, and at first I was unimpressed. I'd been using Clinique's Exfoliating Scrub for almost 20 years, so I was used to a scrub that really felt like it was working.
In the last couple years; however, I had to use the Clinique scrub once a week and at night only because my facial skin would stay red for hours. So when I began using the Philosophy scrub, it didn't feel like much was happening, and as I was washing my face with it, the ratio of cleanser to grit leaned heavily toward the cleanser. I only wanted an exfoliant (I already have cleanser I like), but I decided to finish the large sample.
A couple weeks later I began to notice that my skin looked much smoothed and brighted. All dullness had gone, the tone was more even, and the pores on my nose were no longer clogged.
I have mild rosacea, so I have to be careful with how I treat my facial skin. I am thrilled that I can use this Philosophy product every morning. The pinkness caused by the granules fades by the time I put on my mineral powder. And best of all, those tiny granules are completely natural and uniform in shape (unlike the more jagged St. Ives). They are made form tiny bits diatomaceous earth. Will definitely buy this again.

I admit that I am a bit picky about my skin, especially worried about the appearance of any fine lines. But aging happens, I suppose.
Dermatologists, skin "experts" and the like have been screaming "exfoliate!" so much, I decided I should add that additional step into my daily routine. This Philosophy Exfoliating wash made it sound so convenient. It claims to be gentle enough for daily use, which sucked me in because I thought, I wash my face daily, so why not exfoliate at the same time?
This stuff is runny, liquidy and messy, and since I am trying to squeeze every drop out of what I buy, I do find it annoying that there's always a bit that always drips off into wasteland. I use it in the shower and do a mental "one mississippi, two mississippi..." count to 30- or 40-something, so I am washing for the instructed 30-60 seconds. It feels like...really fine grit? I want to say it's similar to kitty litter breaking into sandy pieces but that might gross people out, but I guess I'm tryign to say it has texture, but not sharp-edged or hard or abrasive.
Still, this is too harsh for daily use on my skin. Maybe other people have less sensitive skin, maybe I rub too hard, ??? I honestly don't notice any "instant" effects (I'm probably wishing too hard) but what's worse is my skin lotions no longer absorb as well as before. After using this wash, my products tend to sit on my skin, or smear into ghostly white streaks, or worse, flake up into ashy flakes. So essentially, my skin looks dry and horrid.
I endured daily use of this product for 2 weeks, but then had to stop. Skin returned to normal quality. If I do happen to use it, I again see the flakey/ashy lotion problem. Sigh, guess this is not for me.

Comments about philosophy the microdelivery exfoliating wash, 8 fl oz:
I'm usually a budget buyer but have recently found myself wanting everything made by Philosophy. It started with Amazing Grace perfume and then went to shower gels and now I find myself slowly trying their facial products. This is a nice product but I find it very similar to Clean and Clear scrub, which is a fraction of the cost. I'll make up my mind when the entire bottle is gone and see if I notice a difference in my skin....if so, I will repurchase. I agree with another review that the squeeze bottle is very hard to squeeze, which really annoys me.

Comments about philosophy the microdelivery exfoliating wash, 8 fl oz:
I love the way this makes my skin feel after washing. It's almost like a scrub but with much finer grains. The instructions say you can use it every day, but I don't think a person with sensitive skin would want to. I'm happy I bought it, and will probably buy it again when I run out.

Comments about philosophy the microdelivery exfoliating wash, 8 fl oz:
I have sensitive, combination skin with acne and rosacea. I have been hesitant to use any kind of exfoliant due to the above issues, but after reading rave reviews all over the Web, I took the plunge. This product did not disappoint. It is very gentle and did not irritate my face at all, yet after just one use, my skin was noticeably smoother and looked great. I will likely alternate with Purity Made Simple cleanser, which has really helped clear up my face. Don't hesitate to give it a try. It's not cheap, but I truly feel that the Philosophy line has improved my complexion a great deal.

I use this scrub all the time and it is by far the best I've ever used. The smell could be improved, but I'm the type who, if it works, I can let that go. I use it just about daily, on my face, my lips, my neck and decollete area. Highly recommend it!

Comments about philosophy the microdelivery exfoliating wash, 8 fl oz:
I got this on the recommendation of the "product finder," as I was looking for a new cleanser. I use it in the morning, as it is not for taking off makeup. The exfoliant is super-fine; finer than sugar. It makes my skin feel so, so soft after using it. It rinse off easily. But the bottle is not a squeeze bottle, so when it starts to run out, I worry that a lot of product will go to waste because I just won't be able to get it out.

Comments about philosophy the microdelivery exfoliating wash, 8 fl oz:
I really like this scrub. The particles are very fine, so you dont feel like you are tearing holes in your face like some other scrubs. I like the smell. I usually use natural products so I am prefer the light herbally smells over the fake fruity junk. I also got the Pretika Dermabrasion facial brush. I use them together and I really feel like I am uncovering new skin.

Comments about philosophy the microdelivery exfoliating wash, 8 fl oz:
While I'm not impressed with the scent, considering it's a Philosophy product, I am impressed with how great it cleans my skin and removes all make-up and leaves a healthy glow on my face. My skin doesn't feel tight or dry after using it. It feels clean and refreshed. The product doesn't feel rough on my face but you can feel a slight grittiness which tells me it's working. I think the scent could be improved but I guess that isn't really important as long as the product does what I bought it for - which it does. I would definitely recommend it to others and purchase again.

This is the best exfoliatoer to use. Not too harsh. It's great in the morning before I apply my serums and moisturizers. They work so much better!
