I have rosacea and super dry skin in winter. I've tried EVERYTHING with no relief. Someone recommended Philosophy so I tried it and my skin is A) no longer dry at all, and B) no longer red/inflamed, but rosy and clear and smooth. I'm using this with the Hope In A Jar for dry and sensitive skin. It seems to keep getting better with use.
The scent isn't that great but at least it's all natural, no perfume.
My only complaint with beauty.com is their no returns policy. When I try something new that I'm not sure that I'll love, I shop elsewhere. Once I know I like it I purchase here.

This has always been a great product for removing all makeup (including eye makeup). But, I am disappointed that they have changed the formula to be runnier, thus, using more product every time. I used to be able to use a bottle in about a year. Now, it looks like I will have to purchase every 3-6 months. I like Philosophy usually, but I don't like it when they cheap out.

Comments about philosophy purity made simple, one-step facial cleanser, 8 fl oz:
I struggled to find an affordable alternative to the expensive products offered at the dermatologist's office and this is it! I have used so many products that boast it's use for rosacea or sensitive skin, but they all left my face dried out and with chronic peeling. I can actually get out of the shower without my skin feeling tight. It feels clean and refreshed! The peeling has completely stopped. I do use another product as a moisturizer, but I can skip a few days without any problems. This will be my face wash for life! I read the ingredients and there is a sulfate (only one) and the paraben is the 4th last ingredient in this product. I just LOVE this product for my sensitive skin!!

I LOVE this product! I didn't start wearing make-up regularly until recently, and I REALLY didn't like the thought of using eye make-up remover AND soap at the end of the day...tried Purity and LOVE it...it's been my experience, though, that it doesn't seem to do well when removing most mascaras...so I changed my mascara, and now all is well!!

Seems to take off makeup better than anything I've ever had ... but don't know if that feature is worth the $$ ... have to see great changes in my complexion to be able ta do that ! We'll see ... only been using it a week or so ...

Comments about philosophy purity made simple, one-step facial cleanser, 8 fl oz:
I was suprised at the fragrance, that it had a fragrance. With a name like Purity you would think it would be unscented.
It smells like a mild version of Murphy's Oil Soap. Gross!
Each time I wash my face I can't help but think of cleaning other things around the house. LOL
I'm truly getting sick of buying different beauty products only to discover that they've added fragrances and smells to them. Why do they think that we want to be cleansing our faces (our noses!), with something that stinks?!?
Even though Purity's smell is not pleasant by any stretch of the imagination it's tolerable enough that I'll use the rest of the bottle.
I will not be purchasing it again however, because of how it smells.
