For starters, this is not for those looking for a basic eye cream - it's heavy duty. Yes, it's VERY emmollient. I'm 40+ and tackle wrinkles PLUS extreme dryness around the eyes. I've spent up to $200 (!) on couture brands (Z.Bigotti, La Mer etc) and nothing has worked as well as this eye cream. This is strictly for someone with dry, brittle skin around the eyes - and yes, a little goes a long way. To help with the wrinkles and elasticity, use the Eye Believe *underneath*, it's peptide rich - but not emollient or moisturizing. Together, massive improvement for my eyes and my concealer NEVER settles into my lines & no crepiness - even @ the end of the day. Extremely recommended!

this cream looks and feels like glue when your putting it on your skin, but it does help dry skin ALOT and lasts all day. it's way too shiny, so i put philosophy's eye believe-which has a velvet texture-over it. the eye believe on it's own isn't very moisturizing so using the two together works great. if they were combined in one tube it would get five stars.

Been using this for years and really love it. It goes on quite thickly, but absorbs quickly. I am just beginning to get fine lines around my eyes and it helps diminish their appearance.

It's ok, I wouldn't say the best Eye product out there, but I use it every day in hopes that it's claim will pay off. It's rather greasy though and tends to burn my eyes when I put it on before bed because it doesn't absorb into my skin very well.

Comments about philosophy hope in a tube, eye and lip firming cream, .5 oz:
I LOVE Philosophy products and have used this product for years for my dry lips. My lips chap at the first sign of cold weather, but stay smooth all winter when I use this cream 2x a day. I find it a little thick to spread around the eyes, but I still use it there when my eyes are irritated by other products (which is very often) because it's so gentle. Seems pricey, but you only need a little so a tube lasts a very long time.
