I've used retinol in high concentrations from the dermatologist before and it met with disasterous results. This cream, while having a decent % of retinol, does not dry out or irritate my skin at all. After about 3 weeks of continued use (except on nights after microdermabrasion or peels) I could not believe the difference in my pore size and skin texture. Just really amazed me. I strongly suggest using a moisturizer with this product and only use at night. Will continue to use faithfully.

I read the reviews and decided to give this product a try. I use it after washing my face at night, before a night cream. I'd been using just the night cream, but the addition of this underneath has improved the texture and feel of my skin significantly.
I've used other Philosophy products and tend to pick and choose among the skin care line. This one appears to be a keeper.

I have only been using this product for a few weeks. I started very slowly like the company recommends. It is not helping with my oily/acne prone face but it is improving the texture of my skin. I notice my skin is softer. I am noticing a very small difference with my fine lines but I am sure I need to use it longer before I see more of a difference. I will continue to use this product. I was really hoping it would help control oil but I think I might need a doctor's prescription for a stronger strength. I am 45 years old with very oily/acne prone and aging skin.

Am using product for almost a week. Skin is much smoother and pores smaller. Haven't really noticed any wrinkle reduction yet, but I think that's too soon. Was battling with adult breakout and haven't had any since I started with this product.

Use it every other night, and ladies, if it's drying to you, you can put moisturizer on top. I wash my face, apply the Help Me, watch a little tv, and then about an hour or two later put moisturizer on top of it (when hope is not enough) and go to bed. Voila, great treatment.
This is really wonderful and I wish I'd tried it sooner. I have some stubborn spots not even the dermatoligist was sure what to do with. Using this for a couple weeks, they are gone.
I have mature skin, dry and roscea on cheeks, and uneven. But not any more. I will continue to purchase this product.

My skin is not sensitive at all. However after using this product a few time it became really irrateted and dry. I would not recommend this product. There are other retinol products out there that do the job and are not as harsh on your skin.

I noticed results in one or two applications: smaller pores, minimized fine lines, skin looks brighter and clearer. I have oily skin, am 47, with a bit of sun damage. Only con is that I noticed some tenderness in the skin around my eyes when touching or rubbing it a day after use. I use this product about 4 or 5 nights a week before bed and am totally satisfied, and I would not normally pay so much for a skin product. I gifted a tube to my mom (age 69) and she likes it but finds it too drying in winter--so beware of that if you have dry skin.

i like philosophy brand products & wanted to give this a try. my favorite night cream has been the reviva 10% gylcolic acid cream with a moisturizer on top of it though
