I seem to have perpetual dark circles around my eyes, and I'm also allergy prone with itchy eyes, so they're usually puffy and irritated. I have to say I applied this at night and the next morning, for the first time, I saw a difference with an eye cream (have tried a number of others); it is soothing; it reduces the darkness, it prevents puffiness in the morning, and I thought it made fine lines smoother. It's just so expensive for the tiny amount you get-

My skin-care regime is comprised almost exclusively of Philosophy products. So I naturally thought that this product would be a winner; I was mistaken. I do not have sensitive skin, and have never had a reaction to any product I have used on my face- ever. But this product, "Eye Hope," irritated my eyes beyond belief, even for days after I had stopped using it. It dried out the skin around my eyes, even though I had applied a heavy moisturizer (that I have used for more than 25 years with no problem) over the "Eye Hope." Not only did it make my eyelids itch, but when I touched them, (not to scratch or rub them, but to touch them lightly) rolls of the product, and perhaps my skin, came off on my fingers. It was gross. I am 49, and have no wrinkles around my eyes, so I cannot evaluate or comment about the product's effectiveness in reducing wrinkles, but it did nothing for my puffiness or dark circles. I did however, enjoy the sample of "The Body Shop's Vitamin E Eye Cream" that came with my order, and is available for purchase through Beauty.com. It's a nice, lightweight cream that is perfect for the day, and I had no irritaion with that product. I am now using that over Philosophy's "Help Me" retinol cream, which I lightly dab at the corners of my eyes, to ward off those wrinkles which I know are on their way!

Comments about philosophy eye hope, .5 oz:
I was really excited to get this product. I had heard a lot about the "hope" line. However, it did not actually help - rather I broke out with it - right under my eyes - Painful! And I got a sty in my eye - then a pimple near my eyelash. It also gave me wrinkles. This was horrid. I cannot wait to get back to the Olay line!

Comments about philosophy eye hope, .5 oz:
I have tried tons of eye cream, and most them big fancy department brand name ones. I think eye cream doesn't work to reduce wrinkles or puffiness. However, after trying this eye cream, I decided that my other eye creams actually worked a little. When I switched to Eye Hope - my crows feet actually got worse!

Comments about philosophy eye hope, .5 oz:
I use this eye cream every morning. It smooths, softens, and depuffs! Really works at making my eyes look refreshed. I am on my third bottle. This is a must in my beauty routine. Last time I ran out I contemplated not replenishing due to the cost. Did not like the way my eyes looked. Very puffy and tired! Worth every penny!

Comments about philosophy eye hope, .5 oz:
Used this product for 3 weeks and was absolutely amazed with the results. I've always had fairly dark circles under my eyes- a trait I've inherited from my mother's side of the family. After applying once at night and usually in the morning the dark circles are half as noticeable. People have even commented me about them, noting that I looked 'really refreshed' :) Always a great compliment. Buy it- it works.

Comments about philosophy eye hope, .5 oz:
I didn't like this at first but I paid so much for it that I just kept using it. It doesn't feel very moisturizing when it goes on but it's apparently working anyway and it doesn't smear my eye makeup. After a few weeks my dark circles and bags are gone and my wrinkle lines are getting smaller and smaller. I can't believe it! - I'm 38 and had resigned myself to older looking eyes - I feel like I found the fountain of youth.

Comments about philosophy eye hope, .5 oz:
I've been using the cream for about three weeks now. I apply once in the morning and right before bed. It has a nice consistency and absorbs quickly into skin so you can wear it under makeup with ease. I have small eyes, so any puffiness due to a late night out or too much salt is VERY apparent. I wake up with much less puffiness and have been don't need nearly as much concealer. The bottle is small and a bit expensive, but for me it is worth the money and is now a staple in my beauty routine. :)
