It makes your skin feel smooth and your pores small. I use a small amount of mineral makeup, on top of it, for a flawless polished look. It does keep your makeup from sinking into your skin. Makeup lasts all day. It is very lightweight and it has never irritated my sensitive skin. i would highly recommend it. It does cost more than most primers, but it is worth it.

Wonderful under foundation or by itself for the no-make look. Doesn't really cover, but somehow makes skin look more even and smooth.
Plus, it gives an overall semi-matte finish...no more shiny T-zone!

have tried many primers in past and most have been too drying and flake after applying foundation (I use Bare Minerals). I also love the fact I can wear this with or without other face make-up because it's tinted (I use the Radiant shade).

I can't lie, this product is great. It goes on smooth, gives you good coverage without the heavyness, and it has a great powdery finish.The worst thing is that it is too expensive and it does not last long at all. I was told that it would last for 3 months, but by the end of one month the pump was clogged up and there was not much left. If you can afford [$] a month... just a shame that its ridiculously overpriced.

First, I have oily, fair skin. Now, in my 40s, I break out rarely, but have noticable redness. Everyone tries to sell me green base to "neutralize" the red -- it never does, just looks fake -- or a "yellow" based primer or make-up, again, to "neutralize". My skin is fair -- as in pink-based, bluish undertone. Anything "yellow" appears to sit on top of my skin, and not blend in. While whining about my predictament one day, Per-fekt was suggested to me. I have to admit, I was skeptikal, at first. It appeared to be quite thick as it came out of the pump and I wanted "light" coverage... However, once I tried it I was hooked! In fact, the radiant shade, which is more of a traditional "medium" color works better for me than the lighter luminous shade. Radiant blends my redness away and makes my skin look smooth and my pores less noticable with a healthy, radiant glow. I find that it goes on best on clean skin that has been lightly moisturized -- I use a light, water-based moisturized for oily skin with SPF. Also, I use long, very smoothing, soothing strokes to distribute and blend the Per-fekt. Don't rub! It doesn't go on smoothly that way. Also, it seems to go on better when it is warm as opposed to cold. To set it and my blush, and make it last through my 12 hour days, I use a VERY light dusting of "HD"-type powder to make my complexion seem as "poreless" as possible. I find I can use much less powder than I used to... Now, mind you, I'm not talking miracles here -- I have oily skin with large pores and redness as I stated above. However, this is the best make-up/primer/base I have found that works for me. Yes, you can still see my pores, up close, but only a laser might fix that. Lastly, I have to tell you, I get all kinds of compliments along the lines of "you look great" and "you look happy" with a look of "what's different about you?" No one asks because no one can put their finger on it -- I just look better because of the Per-fekt -- Which makes me feel good about my complexion, which shows. ;-)

Received this as a free sample (Radinat) and it sat in my makeup bag for the longest. I wasn't and I'm still not impressed with the packaging. Finally gave it a try and while I think it's a great product, I'm not too impressed - probably only because I have created something similiar on my own.

This base of this product reminds me of Clinique's Pore Minimizer ( I use invisible medium) which I tend to mix with my sheer foundation. So basically, with Perfekt I am getting the same effect in one tube.

I must admit it does feel very silky and fresh, but the coverage is questionable. I'm never one to hide my complexion (even when breakouts occur), but for the price, it seems like it should provide just a bit more bang for the buck.

Maybe a darker shade (rich?) would benefit me. I am multiracial, and my skin is the shade of Tyra Banks (just to give you a visual) Radiant blends perfectly, but basically disappears. If I want a disappearing act, I will stick with the pore minimizer.

I love this product. I have very fair skin and find that it works extremely well as a primer and light coverage base. It fills in my large pores on my nose wonderfully and you can't tell it is on once it is applied. The application is super easy. That said, I can also understand how some people would not like this product. It may not be for everyone considering that it comes in a limited amount of colors and may or may not provide enough coverage for everyone. I still love the product but encourage everyone to try the small size before making the commitment. It is a fairly expensive product so I can understand some reservations. BTW, I tried the clear formula and did not like that one because it does not have the tint to cover my dark pores. It seemed to make the pores appear more visible.

I looked at this product for months but hesitated because of the price. Once I purchased it I was very disappointed. It has a very nice texture and works well as a primer but that's about it. I have fairly clear skin with a few imperfections and it doesn't do much at all for me. I can hardly tell the difference once I've applied it (and not in a good way).

I am black and have light caramel colored skin and bought the shade called "decadent". The product feels very nice going on but did absolutely nothing for my face... no smaller pores, no decrease to the slight redness around my nose and cheeks. The color is actually quite unnatural -- I don't know any black people this shade of brown. I look diseased -- in fact, when I came out to check the makeup in different light, my husband said "what happened to your face?!" I'm so disappointed because I thought this would be my summer solution to wearing a full face of makeup... and I had high hopes for the body perfecting gel, too, but I think after this I will pass!

I am a makeup artist with very oily, adult acne prone skin. So it is hard to find products I really like. This is one that I will always keep handy! When I want to even my skin tone and have minimal (but noticeable) coverage, I use this alone. When I want more coverage, I start with this and then layer mineral makeup over top with a wee bit of concealer under my eyes. It helps give you a flawless finish without worrying about adding to oil production or blemishes. I have fair skin with a beige pink undertone and prefer Radiant to Luminous. Luminous tends to look a little too yellow and light even for me.
