I am happy to see Paula's Choice at Beauty.com! For many, many years I've always felt this brand should have much wider exposure in the marketplace. So many people's skin will benefit from PC's products. This BHA exfoliant is a liquid that I apply with a cotton ball, just like a toner. It leaves a light coating on my skin that soaks in overnight. It works perfectly with any other product I've used over it, i.e. moisturizer or treatment. When I started using this liquid exfoliant many years ago, I recall thinking, "Finally a product that produces results I can SEE." 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant is simply the best of its kind and anyone with breakouts, large pores, oil-control issues, or flaky skin, will definitely want to try it.

This is my favorite skin care product, or at least in my top 3. I use it at night after cleansing and toning. I used to use it everyday but I would get dry from it, so I use it now 4 times a week in the winter. It clears up acne, kills bacteria, diminishes oil production, improves complexion color and even-ness, and brightens my skin. All of those things in one product. Seriously, I love this. It works for my combination/oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin. I have the most finnicky skin type, but this stuff does the trick!
Also if youre looking for a salicyclic acid product please be sure to make sure the formula is in the right pH. If the acididty of the formulation is off, then the product does not work and you're not exfoliating at ALL. I have tried EVERYTHING--Neutrogena, OxyPads, Clearasail, Clean and Clear, Burt's Bees, Simple Skin, organic skin care, Eminence, Aveeno, ProActiv, etc.! I still come back to my dear olld Paula's Choice, and this product in particular.
The product can be a bit oily upon application, but it dries quickly and you can easily layer products on top of it. It works to kill bacteria, and because of it, I haven't broken out. IF you don't like the oily feeling you might get upon application, you can try the CLEAR Regular Strength exfoliating toner Paula Choice makes, but this one is stronger, and out of the two, which I have for some reason as an beauty addict, I MUCH prefer this one because it kills the acne faster and stronger.
