I have been using this product for several years - nearly every day! I mix a few drops with a crushed powdered eyeshadow and I get an amazing result! I do not use it as an eyeliner but rather as a liquidy eyeshadow which dries to perfection in a few seconds. The color turns out to be more intense than powder alone, and I get compliments on my eyeshadow nearly every day. This is my signature cosmetics secret and I highly recommend this product.

This stuff is okay....but nothing to rave about. I did buy the brush that is recommended with it. I find the brush to be strangely shaped for making a thin line - it's tip is thin and wide...and curved like...exactly like a "(". It was almost impossible to use this brush for making a thin line under my lower lashes. Since I wasn't able to make the line very thin, the line ended up being wider than I wanted...which seemed to emphasize the lines I have.

Comments about Paula Dorf Transformer, .5 fl oz:
I use transformer to turn eye shadow into eye liner. It is very flexible and you can make a very thin line or a thick line, and it never tugs on your eyelid. It lasts all day. Choose an eye shadow that can be used wet or dry. I like to use one with a lot of pigment in it.

Comments about Paula Dorf Transformer, .5 fl oz:
This is one of 'those products' -- the ones we use and then hope and pray they'll never quit making. I've used Paula Dorf 'Transformer' for years, and I just keep finding new tricks with it. One of my favorite things to use it for is to use it to create custome eye shadow colors. By powdering different colors into a little individual pan with a twist-on top, I add a few drops of 'Transformer', blend it, and let it dry. This creates a new eyeshadow that I can then use either with or without additional 'Transformer'. It's also the BEST for creating eyeliners that transition between the black that I use to create the appearance of thicker lashes and my eyeshadow. FABULOUS stuff!

Comments about Paula Dorf Transformer, .5 fl oz:
I use transformer to make custom eyeliner from any compatible eye shadow (one tht can be applied wet). Using the Paula Dorf recommended brush, I can make a super fine line, or a thicker one, depending on my mood/event. I just have so much more control with this than with any kind of pencil. The brush quality matters, though. And it lasts all day. No touch ups. Really transforms eye shadow to liner.

Comments about Paula Dorf Transformer, .5 fl oz:
Being able to apply color to the upper inside root of my eyelashes is fabulous. As a redhead, my lashes have no color at all, and mascara never reaches all the way to the roots - so one is left with that obvious mascara look which I hate! With Transformer, that problem is solved and my lashes look almost naturally brown :-)

Enables me to use my favorite eye shadow as a liner. It's the only product I've found that does that and it is an important part of my daily make-up routine.

Comments about Paula Dorf Transformer, .5 fl oz:
I bought this product years ago and the formula was much thicker. The thicker product worked better with the high concentrated metallic pigments that I use for liners. This product is much thinner and if used too liberally, the eyeshadow flakes in your eye...painful. I am thinking of breaking open the bottle and adding some baby oil to the formula to make it less runny.

Comments about Paula Dorf Transformer, .5 fl oz:
I do not recommend this product to anyone who has a tendency to have "stinging" from eyeshadows. Sometimes I have problems with certain brands of eyeshadows making my eyes sting - I guess I have sensitive eyes and skin - but this stuff is so painful - the second I apply it, I am in a lot of pain for a while.
