I have been using this product for several years - nearly every day! I mix a few drops with a crushed powdered eyeshadow and I get an amazing result! I do not use it as an eyeliner but rather as a liquidy eyeshadow which dries to perfection in a few seconds. The color turns out to be more intense than powder alone, and I get compliments on my eyeshadow nearly every day. This is my signature cosmetics secret and I highly recommend this product.

This stuff is okay....but nothing to rave about. I did buy the brush that is recommended with it. I find the brush to be strangely shaped for making a thin line - it's tip is thin and wide...and curved like...exactly like a "(". It was almost impossible to use this brush for making a thin line under my lower lashes. Since I wasn't able to make the line very thin, the line ended up being wider than I wanted...which seemed to emphasize the lines I have.

Paula Dorf transformer is fabulous! Now you can turn ANY shade of ANY brand shadow into a liner! Does [$]seem expensive? This little bottle lasts a long time. The staying power is amazing! I'm glad drugstore.com carries this as I can no longer get it locally.

Comments about Paula Dorf Transformer, .5 fl oz:
A little spendy, but a great product. I am able to make a precise line with eyeliner, which is difficult with other products. Lasts all day, no running, or smudging.
Comments about Paula Dorf Transformer, .5 fl oz:
It really works well. There is no smudging or flaking of shadow after application. It blends evenly and applies the shadow fluidly with even dispersion. You can make a very fine line with the right brush. You must be careful to use the shadow that is on the edge of the pot or you could make your shadow no longer unusable as a powder shadow.
Comments about Paula Dorf Transformer, .5 fl oz:
I read very good things about it on the internet and decided to try it. I also picked up the brush, making it the most expensive eyeliner purchase ever -- and it was worth every penny!! It's hard to work with at first, so you'll have to practice with it a few times. Be patient, because once you get the hang of it, you can make the finest line or the most dramatic cat-eyes. One piece of advice: you MUST purchase the brush. It's unlike any brush I own, and I think it's what makes the product work. If I hadn't purchased the brush, I never have gotten the hang of using it.
Comments about Paula Dorf Transformer, .5 fl oz:
This is one of the best products out there! You can transfer any of your eyeshadows into liquid liner. It takes some practice, but it's worth it. It stays on all day. You only need a little on your brush, then run your brush around the outer edge of your eyeshadow and apply.
Comments about Paula Dorf Transformer, .5 fl oz:
Great product! Staying power without being stiff or flaking. With a little practice you can control how much liquid to color you need. Liquid liner takes a little practice but it's much more versatile than pencil liners. And it's actually kind of fun, once you get used to it. Go for sheer definition or pure drama, and this makes all your work last.

I saw a make-up artist use this on TV and she raved about it. This stuff really works. A tiny drop is all it takes--this bottle will last for years. You mix a tiny drop with dark eye shadow, and you have instant, long-lasting eyeliner. You can also apply it over pencil eyeliner and make it last all day.
