Love the color, although it is a bit drying. For some skin tones, it probably is a bit darker than described, but I still thought it looked very natural, yet it is THERE. More on the brown/taupe side then pink.
My only complaint--this is the THIRD time I've purchased a lipstick that someone else had used (also once a nail polish--an expensive one that I ended up keeping). I returned the other 2, but I'm so fed up I just decided to keep it (after wiping the lipstick). I'm just afraid they won't believe me; that the lipsticks are arriving this way (that I wasn't the one to try it). I know they have a color policy, but I don't want to lie and say I tried it but didn't like the color--especially in this case, where I loved the color. I think I am getting the color rejects of other customers. ANYWAY--my take-away lesson--stop buying pricey nail polish and lipsticks from this site if there is not going to be any quality control.

It's a nice color and a creamy texture, but it didn't work for me. Also, the lipstick has a bit of an offsetting fragrance (like those dreadful Revlon lipsticks).

Very Nice! The color is pinkish brown--very natural looking, with slightly more emphasis, so that you know you are wearing lipstick. This lipstick shade is an absolute keeper!

Wow! I have tried them all, Chanel, Nars, Laura Mercier. After reading reviews, I took a chance and I can't say how outstanding this lipstick is. It enhanced my complexion, eye color and my teeth are whiter! My lips look fuller as a bonus. It is simply a MUST have.

This lipstick a beautiful mix of pink and beige. It looks very natural and the texture is very creamy. You should also know that it's called "Gilda" in honor of the late Gilda Radner and that part of the proceeds go to Gilda's Club, a non-profit that offers free support services to cancer patients. So not only will you look good with this lipstick on, but you'll feel good about it too!

My new favorite. I have NARS Dolce Vita which is a great neutral, but rather sheer. This is a very similar color (a color very much like the color of your lips), but a richer pigment/deeper color. Not too matte, not too shiny. Lasts a long time, too.

Thanks to the anonymous reviewer who said the color was a bit rosier than pictured-I ordered it on this basis. I LOVE it - the perfect pinky-brown that doesn't look washed out on my fair skin and dark brown hair. The texture is great; creamy without sacrificing wear!

This is now my Holy Grail lip color. It is a pinkish brown, slightly darker than my own lips so it makes for a completely natural look - with a boost. Goes on smooth, doesn't cake or dry out lips, and color remains after several hours. Kinda pricey for its ingredients, so the dollars are more for the name. The color would probably look great on just about everyone.
