Overall, this product works very well, and it is easy to put on. Instead of just using it on my eyelids to hold color, I use it as an under eye concealer and a concealer for the uneven tone around my eyes. I don't think it keeps my eye shadow from creasing really, but it is a great way to brighten your whole eye area and make you look more awake. It's not even meant to cover under eye circles, but it's the best under eye concealer I'e ever found!

I bought this based on the good reviews, even though it's super-expensive. Unfortunately, it was a major waste of money. It didn't work at all for me. I tried it like four or five times. Different eyeshadows, more, less, etc. Neutrogena cooling eye something in petal shimmers works better and is like a third of the price.

Comments about Paula Dorf Eye Primer, #1, .1 oz:
This primer does hold the shadow extremely well. The problem I had, was it dried out my eyelids causing quite a bit of irritation. I am fair skinned, and late 40's so it might be you'd want to avoid this only if you are prone to eye dryness.
Comments about Paula Dorf Eye Primer, #1, .1 oz:
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff. I've been using it for about 4 years, and couldn't be happier. It completely eliminates the eye shadow creasing that seems to happen naturally as we age. I also use Paula's primer brush. As someone pointed out, you don't want to use too much -- it really doesn't take much to achieve results. I usually apply the primer, then do cheeks, etc., then apply eye shadow, so the primer has a few minutes to "set". Really wonderful stuff -- eye shadow stays fresh-looking all day or all evening.
Comments about Paula Dorf Eye Primer, #1, .1 oz:
This shade is great on fair skin. I am reordering because I am almost out of the first one. I use it as an eyeshadow base and also to cover dark undereye circles and ruddy spots around my nose. I follow with foundation or just powder if I am staying home. I think it is an excellent formula. I have tried lots, and this is NOT greasy, and stays on well, otherwise I would not reorder. Don't use too much, and have fun making those ugly dark shadows disappear.
Comments about Paula Dorf Eye Primer, #1, .1 oz:
I am extremely fair (Julianne Moore white) and this is the precise color of my skin, so I use it as concealer. Every other concealer from every other company (and I've looked high and low) is too dark. I like to wear only concealer and powder as I get older, as foundation just accentuates my fine lines. Tip: if you ever look raccoon-eyed using this or any other pale concealer (relative to your own skin tone), after you set everything with loose powder, take a *fan brush* and dust it lightly in a matte brown eye shadow or blush (warm brown for yellow undertones, cool, ashier brown for rose undertones), and dust lightly under your eyes, standing back 3 feet or so from the mirror. Apply until voila, your under eye color is slightly darkened to blend with the rest of your face.
Comments about Paula Dorf Eye Primer, #1, .1 oz:
This product is pretty good, but takes some getting used to. If you use too much, it makes your eye shadow crease. If you use too little, your eye shadow wears off very quickly. Once you get the amount just right, it does a fairly good job of keeping the shadow on your lids! However, I've used better products such as Clinique's shadow base.
