This product is great for what it's intended: a hair FRESHENER between washes. Sure, it's called "dry shampoo" but that doesn't really mean it's intended to REPLACE a good hair-washing when its due. Don't buy this thinking you can avoid a shower or skip out on shampooing for an extra 3-4 days beyond your usual routine. But DO use it to soak up a little extra sweat or oil on your non-washing days. When I don't have time to wash/dry/restyle my hair, I use this terrific product. I usually use it following my workout & shower at the gym, or after a long 12-hour shift at work. My hair & scalp are left smelling wonderfully clean, much like my Fresh Lemon Sugar body wash, which I LOVE! We use a similar product at work for patients whose heads can't be moved around enough to really wash their hair, and Blandi Pronto works much better than that. Dry shampoos have been around a long time & Im glad this one was made with the beauty-conscious consumer in mind as it smells LOVELY!

Not to happy with this one.
Brought with me for travel. Had to use a lot of the product to take care of grease (my hair is not very greasy at all).
The smell is a strong perfume scent (think, older lady with too much perfume).
And it made my head itch.
Better off with a loose translucent face powder.

Comments about Oscar Blandi Pronto - Dry Shampoo, 1.4 oz:

I bought this product for my daughter to dry shampoo her hair (for convenience). It only takes a small amount. The dry shampoo works better than any I've tried so far, with no skin irritation. I think they should bulk produce it and market it to hospitals.

Comments about Oscar Blandi Pronto - Dry Shampoo, 1.4 oz:

Although I wonder about the price, considering how long it lasts, how wonderful it smells, how much time it saves me, and how happy my hair is, I won't complain. Although I can see this being harder to use with dark hair, the white powder does disappear quickly if you do not use too much. I often use it before going to bed when I know I'm not going to wash my hair in the morning.

Best uses: if you have long hair or otherwise do not have time or want to wash your hair with water everyday, this does a good job of making sure hair and your scalp does not look greasy. It smells wonderful and does not irritate the scalp. I have very long hair that I do not want dried out -- so I do not brush this through all of my hair. I use it mostly at the roots. Also works well with a light, leave-in conditioner to make sure hair retains shine.

Comments about Oscar Blandi Pronto - Dry Shampoo, 1.4 oz:

The concept is the same as the old trick of massaging baby powder through your hair and scalp to soak up excess oil when you don't have time to wash your hair but hiding under a hat or in your bed isn't an option. However, this dry shampoo has a light & fresh scent, allows for more precision during application due to the tip, adds lift to limp roots, doesn't give your hair the dull grey tone that is notorious with baby powder, and seems to work fine with hairspray. You do want to try for even coverage and use your fingers to really work it in so it looks natural instead of spotty. If your hair gets oily during the day, consider keeping this in your desk or purse for a quick mid-day fix, but don't let the cap come off in your purse!

Comments about Oscar Blandi Pronto - Dry Shampoo, 1.4 oz:

The is ok, not my favorite but I can deal with it. I have shiny red hair and this product made it dull looking. You then could really see the difference of where I used it and where I didn't. It also is white so it made it hard to blend in.

Your better off just washing it or using a hairspray and rubbing it in to absorb extra oil.

I just use a little of the powder at my temples and hairline where my fine hair first shows signs of needing a wash. Doesn't leave behind any visual or tactile residue. It buys me a day between shampoos.

I am impressed with this. I am not really into the smell. My husband calls it my old lady crop dust hair. Ugh, men. You can't SEE it in your hair, but you can smell it. It gives my hair more volume than the day before, when I actually did wash it, which I like. Like big sexy hair. It sometimes gets stuck in the top and is hard to get out. But just turn it back over and shake it around and that will do the trick. Doesn't leave a powdery white look or a residue, but I have light hair. I don't like the smell though. Some girl wrote about this being an aeresol... ehhh, it's a powder. When I'm done with my bottle, I probably won't repurchase.

Very disappointing product. The powder clumps up on your scalp and looks like flakes of skin, I removed it by repeatedly brushing and flipping my hair for severral long minutes. My hair is dry and the reviewers who like this product seem to have oily hair so maybe that's the difference. It also dried out in the bottle very fast. I gave it to a friend who wanted to try it and there was none left even though I only used it once!

I bought the small bottle first to check it out. I like the idea that it is non-aerosol. However, it doesn't work as well for me as the much cheaper Batiste brand. The Oscar Blandi dry shampoo does take a little longer to apply because it is non-aerosol so practice with it a few times.

I like this small bottle for travel but will not likely purchase again.

Comments about Oscar Blandi Pronto - Dry Shampoo, 1.4 oz:

I've been told by stylists many times that you should not wash your hair daily, as this dries it out and damages your hair. So I've been using Oscar Blandi dry Shampoo for about a year now. I typically have a 3 day cycle, 1) wash, 2) leave be, 3) Oscar Blandi, Repeat. However I have been able to go an entire week, when traveling. I've even had many compliments about how nice my hair smells (although I think it's a bit strong), at least it always looks healthy and clean when I use this.

This is particularly useful when you are traveling, and there are insuffiecient shower resources (water pressure, or just access to showers at all). I've also found it useful, when I'm skiing, or in tropical places, because the rest of my hair will get dried out, but my scalp will get oily. This solves the issue! (Since washing my hair more would only dry it out more).

The only con is that this product is a bit pricey. You can use baby powder for the same purpose. However I have found that the baby powder doesn't blend into your hair as well, leaving you with white patches, and your hair doesn't "feel clean," instead it feels thick, like it's coated.

Bottom line: if you can afford it, this product is worth it!
