I have been a natural deodorant user for years but have never quite found the Holy Grail - until now! Although I like to use natural products vs. aluminum containing traditional antipersperents, I have never found complete success or odor control with the range of natural deodorants I've tried. Some worked okay but leave me smelling like me by the end of the day. Others turned and made me smell worse than if I wore nothing at all.
The Origins Deodorant is in a pump spray bottle and a few sprays per arm is all I need. I tend to spray a few minutes after getting out of my morning shower and have never had irritation or stinging on my freshly shaved armpits. The smell is one of my favorite things - spicy and earthy and yet not at all hippy (think patchouli) in nature. It's just yummy and I actually keep wanting the smell to last - although it does fade after a few hours. At the end of the day my armpits don't have much of the scent remaining but they also don't smell bad - and this is saying A LOT since I have been using it during days where I have spent hours outside in the hot, humid 100 degree Texas weather.
Can't recommend enough. I am so thrilled to have found my holy grail deodorant. Thanks Beauty.com for carrying this product and Origins for making it!

I usually do not take time to do these reviews, however this stuff burns something serious. I tried using after a shave -- it was pure torture! I was blowing my underarms to cool them off and the pain lasted for some time! Then, I said, okay maybe it was the freshly shaved skin -- and after a few days of going without a shave, I tried it again and this stuff REALLY hurts!!! Do not buy this for your skin -- because if you are not sensitive, you surely will be. I just felt like a waist of [$]! But of course, one day I could not find my odor spray for the bathroom and gave that stuff a few squirts then pesto -- odors were gone! So, although I would not wish my experience on anyone, [$] bucks later, I've discovered a new and green use for the product.

I'm not sure how long this product lasts. I put it on before a walk (about 1/2 mile) in 30 degree weather. On the walk, I could smell the scent of this throught my t-shirt, sweater, and down coat. It smells distinctly masculine. As a female, I have no desire to smell like this smells. The wetness control was non-existant. As soon as I got home, I showered, and put the affected clothes in the laundry basket.
I will be giving this one away to someone.

The deodorant certainly does as it should--it prevents odor very effectively. I normally really like products from Origins, and wanted to really love this one, but it does have some drawbacks for me: It warns not to apply it to freshly-shaven skin--please pay attention to this warning! I forgot and did just that, and it is extremely irritating to freshly-shaven skin, with burning and itching that took a few minutes to subside. It also takes quite a while to dry, and I found that throughout the day I seemed to be very aware of myself when I was perspiring (I live in Florida, it is very hot here!)because I would perspire and feel the moisture in addition to smelling the very strong herbal (almost masculine) scent. As a positive point, it was very effective with respect to odor prevention.
I am, however, alternating using this with my natural salt stick, which is odorless but not as effective.
With this product I suspect each individual will have their own very different opinion of it--you would really have to try it to be sure if it is right for you.

This is a spray-on product (I expected roll-on) and the smell is just not attractive. In fact, as soon as I applied it I had to take it off.
It may be that it smells bad in combination with my skin, but this type of a product is something I could never use. Not even for a day.
Unfortunately, you can't get a refund for it either.

I used this on a day when I didnt go to gym or do anything physical, mostly because of the unpleasant smell. I can work out and not shower and still not smell. With this product I could smell body odor mixed in with the strong smell of the product!

I had many hopes for this deodorant, but when i got it i was super disappointed. It may look like i'm exaggerating, but the smell of this deodorant is just terrible. My Mom, Dad and my boyfriend all noticed that i smelled different (and not in a good way) I was hoping that this deo will work out. I just wish Origins made it smell just a little bit more lemony or anything BUT this terrible current flavor. In conclusion i want to say this deo is definitely not for younger ladies, although my Nana might like it :)

I work out all of the time and I am very much into natual and holistic health. I also have a professional carrier and tend to perspire alot! I have looked and searched for an organic deodorant on the market that actually works and this deodorant does! It is worth the [$] and you can rest easy that you are not contaminating your skin (the largest organ in your body) with chemicals that cause cancer. This is a wonderful product to use before a workout and everyday! The fragrance is mild and different from the commerically manufactured "flowery, vanilla" chemically made deodorants out there that are not healthy for us. I would highly recommend this product!

I like this product because it seems to work better than other natural deodorants I have tried. It is a spray that is cool on the skin and not at all sticky. I would buy it again. I am not a person who perspires a lot, and it worked fine for me.

I have tried about every "green" deodorant and I really like this one. Usually herbal deodorants make my underarms burn like crazy. This one did the first time I wore it, but since then I have had no burning. I love that it is a spray so that no bacteria is building up on a deodorant stick/roll. It keeps me odor free also, and I work full time and go to school parttime, so my days are long.

with all the contraverse going on about the aluminum in anti-persperants and deodants this is by far the safest, natural spray I have ever used. let alone the best smelling and keep my dry. I would highly recommend this product....
