I'm in my mid-thirties and have fair, sensitive, combination skin that occasionally breaks out. I've tried cleansers for combination skin that leave my skin tight and dry and cleansers for sensitive skin that leave me a bit oily on the Tzone. This does the trick. Rub a little all over your DRY face. Add a tiny bit of water and it turns milky. Rinse it off. A little goes a long way. I've been using it for 2 months and barely used a quarter of the bottle. Do yourself a favor and go to an Origins counter to buy a pump ($4) it makes the product so much easier to dispense. Overall great cleanser I will continue to use.

I bought this hoping it would gently remove my makeup and wash off completely because of the mild foaming that happens when you add warm water. Not only does it NOT wash off clean, it's impossible to get it out of the bottle without making a huge mess and wasting the product. The bottle is a horrible design for dispensing oil.
Since I could not return this product, I am using it to remove makeup and add moisture, then I use Neutrogena Naturals or an Aveeno cleanser with it to wash it all away. I'll be going back to only Neutrogena Naturals (which cleans and does not dry out my sensitive skin out) as soon as this oil is gone.

Comments about Origins Clean Energy Gentle Cleansing Oil, 6.7 fl oz:
This is a great product. I have combination skin and this helped cleanse my face without over drying. The only downfall is the container should probably be a pump since it is a liquid; I end up wasting a lot. Nevertheless, this is one of my favorite products from Origins!

Comments about Origins Clean Energy Gentle Cleansing Oil, 6.7 fl oz:
A little goes a long way if you pour it carefully into your palm, but I do wish it came with a pump. I love the scent. It removes my makeup fine, but I prefer to use a wipe first. I apply the cleanser to dry skin. I can feel and see it flushing out and deep cleaning my pours. Then I take a warm/hot wet washcloth and massage off the oil. This gives a little exfoliating action and leaves my face clean and fresh not oily. If it seems a little pricey for you try EVOO... then when you want something special try this.

Comments about Origins Clean Energy Gentle Cleansing Oil, 6.7 fl oz:
I thought it was odd - using oil as a cleanser? - but it does work well for me. I use this product most nights to remove make-up, and it doesn't leave angry dry patches on my face like most cleansers, or clog my pores. It does irritate the skin on my hands a little though; I tend to get contact dermatitis from the orange oil in the cleanser. What would be really helpful is if they changed the top of the bottle from a screw-top, which I find very cumbersome with wet hands, to a flip-up top that squirts. I'm going to look for a more convenient top to put on my bottle.

Comments about Origins Clean Energy Gentle Cleansing Oil, 6.7 fl oz:
I love using this to remove my makeup at the end of the night. It is gentle, effective and won't clog pores. This is even safe to use on your eyes to remove mascara and such. I follow this up with a deep cleanse using a different cleanser and my Clarisonic. I have tried other oil cleansers, but this one is definitely my favorite so far because it contains high quality ingredients that won't clog pores and is a good value.

Comments about Origins Clean Energy Gentle Cleansing Oil, 6.7 fl oz:
This is my go-to cleanser. I'm not sure where the other users get the "strong scent" opinion. To me the cleanser smells like natural plant oils. I can see how users can be opposed to it because of the chemicals that they are exposed to growing up that made them dislike the natural smell of plants. I know how Shu Umera cleanser is and the fact that mineral oil is top of the ingredient list. Clean energy is different. It has all natural ingredients. It doesn't spread out as well as Shu, but it is good enough. You need to use 2 pumps and be careful not to mix it with too much water. It takes off light makeup very well, but you need to use a eye makeup remover first for mascara.

Comments about Origins Clean Energy Gentle Cleansing Oil, 6.7 fl oz:
I used to follow the OCM (Oil Cleansing Method) but stopped as it took too much time IMO to make sure the oil didn't leave any residue on my face. This works well and unlike the others I've tried, it doesn't contain mineral oil which seems to irritate/clog my skin.
I wish they had a pump or a better bottle design to make pouring a little less messy & help us minimize waste.
tip:After emulsifying & washing off I like to briefly steam & wipe face w/a face towel...

Comments about Origins Clean Energy Gentle Cleansing Oil, 6.7 fl oz:
This is a decent product for removing makeup, even on water-resistant mascara. However, I can still feel the grease after I emulsify. Yes, I did properly emulsify. Comparing to other cleansing oil, I think it is OK but not the best. I will switch back to DHC cleansing oil after using up this one. If you are thinking between Origins and Shu Uemura, I think they work about the same but this one is much cheaper.

I have sensitive skin with dry patches around the chin, hairline and lower cheeks. The rest of my skin is oily. This product cleans extremely well leaving my skin moisturized without feeling greasy.
