Checks and Balances™ Frothy face wash Cleverly cleanses faces with dry and oily places. Best for combination skin When it comes to faces with dry and oily places, it takes a clever cleanser to balance the two. This gentle, frothy face wash carefully does both jobs without canceling each other out. Broad Leaf Kelp Extract discourages excess oil production, while Wheat Protein balances and protects dry prone zones. And Tourmaline actually makes water wetter to more easily disperse dirt and sebum down the drain. There's also aromatic Bergamot, Spearmint and Lavender to add pleasure to the process. First off I never tried anything from this line. But now that I have I deff will try more. This is such a good face wash. It makes your face feel so clean. Its a thick cream. It lathers very well. Its not runny even when your washing your face. It smells EXACTLY like toothpaste. I had two huge zits that were inflamed bc I was picking at them and this deflamed them. Amazing bc they were bad. This would deff be a good product for a teen bc its mild and evens out oily spots and dry spots.

I was really expecting this face wash to help my combination skin by removing the oil. But after using it for several weeks, I see no difference at all. It is a fine cleaner, very gentle and not irritating but for [$], I expect it to work better than its competitors that are significantly cheaper. Will not be buying again.

I have tried many brands of cleanser and this is the best one so far. It is very creamy and a small pea size squeeze covers the whole face. It has a pleasant light scent of mint. It foams up well and rinses completely clean. My face never feels tight or dry or greasy. I will buy this again when I run out and highly recommend it. I do have sensitive, breakout promise skin and this has not adversely affected it at all and I've been using it several weeks.

I got this as a sample. After trying it, I couldn't wait to be finished with my "old" face wash and buy a full tube of this. It smells really good and gets really frothy. It also leaves your face feeling clean and refreshed without drying out your skin.

I have tried dozens of cleansers, from drugstore brands to very expensive brands, and this is my single favorite cleanser. I switch around with cleansers, try new products, and always come back to this. I have fine lines and wrinkles that it does not accentuate. I am acne-prone, which it helps keep in control. I love it's thick creamy lather. It only takes a very small amount to get a lot of foam and cleaning action so the tube lasts a long time. This is a great cleanser for combination, sensitive, aging, and blemish prone skin.It leaves my skin feeling soft yet thoroughly clean. I like many of the Origins products, and this is the best yet! Highly recommended!!

I first picked this face wash up at the department store on a whim since the Lancome counter was out of the wash I was previously using (Confort Mousse Cleanser) and the salesgirl recommended this as an alternative. Well bless her heart, she was right on the money! Not only does this cleanser cost less than Lancome, but it also removed makeup better! The scent is pleasant and not obtrusive, and the real selling point was how LITTLE you actually need to use in order to achieve a rich lather. One bottle could seriously last you a couple months it's so concentrated. It rinses cleanly, and your face feels squeaky-clean afterwards, but not tight nor dry. Highly recommended for almost any skin type.
