I've used this product for more than 5 months, at least twice a week. The smell to alcohol is very strong, so strong that I cannot keep it close to my nose if I were to breathe. My face gets red after using this peel, and it's not sensitive. But, luckily my skin tone goes back to normal after about half an hour. There's a smooth and a rough side, so one has a choice over which one to use. I use the smooth one since I've active breakouts. I've made sure that I check to see whether the few pores and blackheads since the product is strong. None of them are cleared by this. This has not help lighten my acne discolorations by a tiny bit, and I use the Brighter by Nature moisturizer along with this. My conclusion is that this peel is completely useless unless one wants a toner that's in the form of a peel.

I hate scrubs as my skin is very sensitive, also I don't like masks just because I never seem to have 20 minutes for a mask. This product is perfect for me as it's very easy and fast to use, also it's perfect for the sensitive skin as it doesn't scratch.

After using a cleanser, these pads still remove a dirt residue that is removed noticeably on the pad.

I purchased this at our PX and thought to myself maybe this will work and at least it doesn't have hydroquinone in it. I've been using this for a couple weeks and I'm scratching my head and have a "?" look on my face. I am not really seeing a difference with my post acne hyperpigmentation. I actually see a difference with using Dermadoctor's Physical Chemistry instead of this stuff & the thing is I have been using DPC for only 4 days!!! Thank God I am almost out of the serum because I don't think I will be purchasing that or these pads again. I am getting really disappointed with Origins products. Only a few of them have worked for me (sunscreen, and body scrub) - not any products to control acne/post acne hyperpigmentation.

I am latina and when I have any little thing on my skin, it darkens. I also got some freckles from sun exposure. Since the very first time I used the pads, I could tell the difference. Every time I use them I see that my skin in more even and somehow lighter, since the dark spots are minimizing.

I use this product more often than recommended--several times during the week. It leaves my skin clearer and brighter than my regular washing and toner regimen alone. I think my skin better absorbs the nourishing and firming creams I apply after using this brightening peel, because fine lines seem less obvious now.

I use this product as directed, twice a week along with the serum every day, and I've used it a few times and I haven't noticed a change in my skin. I'm hopeful that after a few more weeks I'll notice a difference.
