I almost passed this by because of other reviews of the 'smell'. The product smells very earthy, almost ashy. However, used exactly according to the directions - put ~1 tsp in your hand, let it melt, run thru your hair, repeat until your hair is saturated and then SLEEPING with it on FABULOUS results!!! FABULOUS!!!

My chestnut brown hair was DAMAGED from trying to lighten it to blonde myself. Now, it feels like HAIR again! My frizzy fly aways are tamed and hydrated!

I'm thrilled!! So thrilled I got the restorative shampoo/conditioner (which I use 1x week) and the leave in oil which I use EVERY DAY instead of my tried and true frizz ease!

I love love love this stuff!!

First off, when applied it smells like stale cigarette smoke. So like you went to a bar...and possibly slept in an ashtray. THAT bad. The smell lingers. I showered and I still smell it. I lost a great deal of hair! Scared me! My hair feels dry, and looks it. And I have great hair!! PLEASE don't fall for the hype. I did and I am NOT happy. The return policy blows and I am stuck with this terrible product. DO try the Burt's Bee's Hair treatment. It makes my hair glossy and soft and lasts into the next shampooing. And it is cheaper and smells great.
Also this contains Saw Palmetto, which is generally used by men for enlarged prostates. It affects male hormones.

Comments about Ojon Damage Reverse Restorative Hair Treatment, 3.1 oz:

I have curly hair that can be unruly at times, especially during hot summer days. I picked a lazy Saturday and left it on for 5 hours for an intense deep treatment. I love how the product melts in my hands and applies so easily without being messy. I washed and styled as usual, and my hair looks and feels awesome....I cannot stop touching my smooth, bouncy curls! This is a great find!

Great coffee like smell. Softens in one use. Leave it on for at least an hour and warm it with your hairdryer after you apply

This is just perfect for my fine hair. I usually leave it overnight and shampoo the next morning. It leaves my hair soft, hydrated and easy to take care. The smell rinses off pretty easy after shampoo. I recommend this product to anyone with very dry and damage hair. Love it!

I think this must depend on your hair type...mine is fine with a bit of a wave to it...I am 42 and watching my girlfriends' hair get a bit..scrunchy? I am lucky enough to not have to dye mine yet..but the difference is incredible. Yes--you smell like a head shop --but this is a stay at home treatment--with a ratty hat on! I canNOT rinse this out..so after leaving it on an hour or so I actually shampoo it out...still..leaves my hair looking shiny and healthy.

I have been using this product for almost two years. I use it as a weekly treatment and leave it for at least 4 hours or overnight. My hair always feel soft and easy to manage after it. Better yet, I can tell my hair has more volume, too. Try it yourself, you won't regret it.!

I just love this stuff. Been using it for years, Love the smell. Reminiscent of joss sticks (incense) from the '60s and '70s. I have SUCH thick hair. It smooths it. And I'm not one for expensive products, but for this product I make an exception.

I had no problem with the fragrance. It reminds me of coffee flavored chocolate truffles! But I did have a problem with the fact that I saw no improvement whatsoever in the condition of my hair. I followed the directions carefully and even left on longer than recommended, but my hair is still just as dry as ever. Won't buy again.
