I wanted to like this shampoo but it did not work for me. My hair is in excellent condition, has no unnatural color and I don't use hot irons on my hair. While the shampoo added a lot of shine and moisture to my hair, it *did not* add any volume. In fact, after one day my hair would look greasy. This is with NO conditioner applied afterwords.
I would recommend this shampoo for one who has dry, brittle hair that needs repair. They would be sure to see positive results.

I like that this shampoo is not tested on animals. It is a really ncie shampoo that leaves your hair shiny and with a lot of body. It is a little pricy but probably worth it because you don't need to use much to get a good lather.

The lathering was not good on oily hair, even when I shampooed twice with Nick Chavez shampoo, but it did clean my hair. When I used Pantene on the the first lather then Nick Chavez the lather was much better. The scent was minimal but fine.

I have many of Nick Chavez's products and I really like his shampoos and hairsprays...this really cleans well and gets the residues out of your hair therefore making it weightless and more bouncy...only thing I can say is its a little pricey, but it does last me a long time as I alternate my shampoos anyway..
