The NARs pencils are suprisingly smooth and multitask as liner and lipstick. I was pleasantly surprised with the color - I was afraid it would be tomato soup orange but it is a nice sheer but bright red. A possible downside would be the unusual size means you either have to purchase the NARS sharpener or luck out and have one that fits (not a typical pencil size).
