Roman Holiday: Delicate pastel pink A wide range of captivating shades designed to provide the look and style the color dictates. Lipstick available in three formulas: Satin - moist, longwearing lipstick containing micro-bubble spheres to continually release lip conditioners which yield creamy, silky color that wears for hours. Semi-Matte - A highly pigmented matte, non-drying formula that provides a longwearing, full-bodied, velvety finish. Sheer - long lasting color pigments have been suspended in this translucent formula to provide a sheer, natural tint.

Once the lips have been defined with appropriate lip liner, use the Lip Brush to apply lipstick to the lip. Using the Lip Brush will provide control and aid in blending. Applying the lipstick directly from the tube will allow a richer application of color. For more of a matte finish and to remove excess product, place tissue over the lips and gently smooth finger over the lips. For Extra Long Lasting Color: Define and fill in entire lip with lip liner. Apply lip color directly from tube. Using only a single ply of tissue place tissue over the lips. Using a powder puff or sponge, pat loose powder over the lips to set. Reapply lipstick. Full Looking Lips: Add Lip Gloss or Lip Lacquer just in the center of the bottom lip and at the bow of the top lip. |

The texture and consistency of this lipstick is EXCELLENT. I picked up Belle du Jour which makes the perfect nude lip for me. My lips already have a lot of color to them, and this covers surprisingly well!
I'd recommend giving your lips a little scrub with a wet washcloth to remove any dry, flaky bits, as this -and any- lipstick can enhance those... and not in a good way!

I love Nars lipsticks but this color which I thought I would really love because I'm more of a pink kind of girl was not my fav. I ended up giving it away to my Mom who is much more paler complected than I.
