Once the lips have been defined with appropriate lip liner, use the Lip Brush to apply lipstick to the lip. Using the Lip Brush will provide control and aid in blending. Applying the lipstick directly from the tube will allow a richer application of color. For more of a matte finish and to remove excess product, place tissue over the lips and gently smooth finger over the lips. For Extra Long Lasting Color: Define and fill in entire lip with lip liner. Apply lip color directly from tube. Using only a single ply of tissue place tissue over the lips. Using a powder puff or sponge, pat loose powder over the lips to set. Reapply lipstick. Full Looking Lips: Add Lip Gloss or Lip Lacquer just in the center of the bottom lip and at the bow of the top lip. |

I went searching for a color that would look natural on my skin tone, being a woman of color, African American descent, makes it difficult to find the perfect natural looking lip color - but this color was perfect! I have tried other lip colors by various beauty companies and none compare to this particular color. To think, I had been looking for this shade for at least 2 years and finally wandered into the Sephora store and found it! I have never provided a review for any product, but because it's hard for women of color to find the exact shade that compliments our deep skin tone, I thought it necessary to share my experience. I would buy this color over and over and recommend it to any woman of color!
