Once the lips have been defined with appropriate lip liner, use the Lip Brush to apply lipstick to the lip. Using the Lip Brush will provide control and aid in blending. Applying the lipstick directly from the tube will allow a richer application of color. For more of a matte finish and to remove excess product, place tissue over the lips and gently smooth finger over the lips. For Extra Long Lasting Color: Define and fill in entire lip with lip liner. Apply lip color directly from tube. Using only a single ply of tissue place tissue over the lips. Using a powder puff or sponge, pat loose powder over the lips to set. Reapply lipstick. Full Looking Lips: Add Lip Gloss or Lip Lacquer just in the center of the bottom lip and at the bow of the top lip. |

The lipstick is very drying and flat looking. Needed to use a brown tinted gloss to give the lipstick some uumph and life.
It soes not slide on easily, you need to really push and tug as if using a crayon.
Cheap product, hevy price tag.

This is perfect for the nude lip, dramatic eye look for night or just for during the day. If you use a lip liner with it, the combinations are endless! Expensive but worth it. I just wish it didn't wear off so quickly. Very smooth and moisturizing.

I have medium olive skin, and had given up looking for an everyday nude lipstick that didn't make me look as though I were jaundiced or had somehow eaten a pile of chalk (not a nice image, but you get the idea). While I initially balked a bit at the price, this lipstick has ended my search. It's a great color for olive skin, and with surprisingly staying power for a sheer formula. I recommend wearing it with a bit of neutral (not too pinkish) lip liner undernearth.

I love this color; it is indeed very beautiful, as its name implies. However, it is also on the dry side; unless you put balm underneath, this lipstick won't go on very smoothly. If you apply it right, it gives you a very nude-JLo look, but if your lips are slightly chapped, etc., this just intensifies the ridges. Nars is a very good line, if you are suitable for their makeup. I would recommend using a nude lipgloss over this lipstick. It's a little pricey, but you do get a very formulated product. I would buy it again.
