Bought this at saleslady's recommendation during my one and only visit to a cosmetics store. After 5 decades of being a Budget Fashionista, I've learned those places are unnecessary and overpriced. HOWEVER -- this Nars O-shade (which Drugstore.com won't let me print!) is that rare product that is worth the price. One compact lasts me nearly a year, and I do not leave home without using this, and a cheap eyebrow pencil. The shade is just lovely, never too heavy, and has that slight, slight shimmer that takes years off.

The perfect bit of color for my light skin, blond hair, and blue eyes. It's pretty buildable so I would advise to definitely start slow and build coverage if you need to. It is shimmery but the shimmer isn't excessive. It's subtle and feminine without being too tinkerbell-like.

i LOVE NARS powder blush. Even more so than the comapny's cream blush which I rarely touch. I use the exhibit A pretty frequently-- and I am not even a heavy makeup user [my daily look involves tinted moisturizer and sometimes mascara.] The color is brightening/livening, pretty, sex, and despite it's scary appearance, very natural looking depending on how much you layer on. I love that it's super pigmented. I do find, however, that after a few hours the color will have worn off-- either because I touch my face or maybe because I don't layer foundation under/powder over it. Either way, it's rare for me to get to the bottom of a container of makeup-- but with this blush, I've been there. I'll be back soon to restock.

To my sisters of color--the color is fantastic for medium and fair skin. It provides a natural flush. This shade is the "middle" tone in the "Deep Throat"--"O"--"Super O" progression. I recommend the "Super" for deeper, fuller and richer mahogany and chocolate tones. As with most of this line, this tone is a great anchor for setting up your neutral palette. This also layers well with the other "O" products from NARS.

Only two drawbacks. 1) telling someone the color when asked--some of these NARS brand names are--ahem, well, not exactly for workplace watercooler discussion. 2) no brush--invest in the NARS Ita and/or Ita Kabuki brush.

Had a makeover done and the make up artists swore by this. I bought it right away! It goes with pinks or peach colors, looks great on everyone

I put on Nars blush in the morning and it looks just as good by 5:00 pm then when I applied it at 8:00 am. The color is very natural and provides lasting coverage. I have blond hair, blue eyes, and fair skin. Blush has a tendency of looking harsh. This blush gives me good color without looking like I'm wearing makeup.

Seriously? I don't know what all the hype is about with this blush. I have fair/medium skin and brunette hair with gold highlights. This color looked horrible on me! Not natural at all. Too much sparkle and the color is way too dark on me.
