Comments about NARS Nail Polish, Limited Edition Vintage Shades, Zulu, .5 fl oz:

I bought this polish in the Zulu shade about a year and a half ago. I'd been looking for a dark, forest green for Christmas for ages, and this was the first color I found that was what I had in mind. I bought it for myself as a treat, and the color was not a letdown. It was gorgeous, and I have received many compliments on it whenever I have worn it.

However, the polish itself was disappointing. It's pretty thin and generally requires at least three coats to cover my nails properly. The thin brush does nothing to alleviate this. I realize that more thin coats are better than fewer, thicker coats, but this formula goes on unevenly in its thin-ness and is generally irritating to deal with.

All in all, it's a perfect shade - but never again will I buy this brand of nail polish.
