The best neon bright pink I've come across! It is totally worth the money. If you are new to bright bold eye catching lip colors I might stay away and try out cheaper drug store alternatives before dropping the cash on this one. The lasting power is amazing, and it is highly pigmented. I find that neutral eye shadows paired with cat eye eyeliner and dramatic lashes go really well with this lipstick!

Although Nars Schiap is expensive, there is no other lipstick that compares to it and is as bright. It's pretty much a blue-based neon pink. You don't want to wear much other make up with it. Application and coverage is good, as is the wear.

yes it is a shocking pink. (but heat wave & shanghai express are just as vivid & i have both too.) this is such a fresh & youthful spin on the classic red lip. there are pix of kim kardashian rocking this, yet it's also lovely against my pale skin. it's drying like most nars lipsticks, but that's part of the reason for their superior staying power.

To my sisters of color--I would only recommend this for very fair alabaster to custard skin. It is waaaay too loud for the office, or for special occasions. It's fine for clubbing or for 80s costume parties. It is true to color. When NARS says "shocking" pink, trust me, you will be shocked!
