This setting powder enhances the look of foundation without a trace of color, extending makeup wear thanks to the NARS exclusive Light Reflecting Complex™, which optimizes light-reflection on the skin.

Its silky powder is infused with Photochromic Technology, which diffuses light and adjusts to new sources of light throughout the day. Soft, silky and luxurious to the touch and undetectable on the skin, this weightless formula applies evenly and blends effortlessly. One of the best parts? Fine lines, wrinkles, and pores optically fade as skin is visibly smoothed. Additionally, revolutionary microfine mineral powders are loaded with glycerin and antioxidant vitamin E to help guard against dryness and keep skin comfortable all day. Ideal for touch-ups, it helps regulate shine throughout the day and seamlessly sets foundation. This product is paraben- and fragrance-free and non-comedogenic.

Comments about NARS Light Reflecting Pressed Setting Powder, Crystal, .24 oz:

I know I can be heavy-handed, so I've had to teach myself to lighten up when using any powders. The thing with this is that you're not supposed to see it. It's a setting powder. It's supposed to lock-in your visible makeup without giving you a ghost face, so you shouldn't be aiming for heavy application.

I've used this 2 different ways with similar and great results. The key is to use a light hand when swiping the applicator across the powder and again when applying it to your face. I try to apply light, even pressure with my pointer, middle, and ring fingers against the back of the applicator while drawing it back and forth across the surface of the powder toward me. This is mostly so I don't end up with powder only in the points where my fingers tips press against the applicator.

Then I use either light, downward strokes with the applicator over my face, or patting lightly onto the skin. I get more powder on the applicator after a couple wipes or pats. Just a little bit at a time, usually my forehead in one go, then one cheek, then the other, with nose and chin for last. I usually pat onto my nose, under my eyes, around my lips, and anywhere else that needs a little extra attention to get into the smaller areas.

Living in Florida, it is hot and humid most of the time, and I have to rely on this to control shine and keep my makeup in place. This powder and application works pretty well for me. Whatever pores are still visible after applying my Nars tinted moisturizer are softened and nearly invisible after applying this powder. I have had zero problems with powdery streaks showing up in photos. If I touch my face after applying it, my face feels soft and very smooth, I don't worry about accidentally brushing any of my makeup off. It's incredibly light, I don't notice any scent, and there's no falloff resting on my shirt after applying.

Great product. But you have to be careful when applying it.because it can show white strokes when applied heavily .Overall it gives the skin a smooth and nice luminous I finish.
