Comments about NARS Kabuki Artisan Brush, Yachiyo, 1 ea:
After reading many reviews on different websites, I had really high hopes for this brush. It does a good job of applying powder brush/cream blush. No streaking. Loved it when I first saw it, but I am noticing that unlike some of the other reviews, this brush sheds somewhat. I have only used it several times and twice I have seen brush hairs on my face. I have not washed it yet and am hoping that any loose hair that may have been on the brush initially will be gone? The handle is pretty, but one concern I have is how long it will hold up. I take good care of my makeup brushes, so we'll see. I may purchase this again. Time will tell...

I totally love this brush!!! Yachiyo picks a perfect amount of blush on (not too much or less), and its dome shape fits and applies easily to cheekbone. So, it works well on every powder blushes, especially pigmented blushes. The only annoying things is fur shedding, but it seems less after using for a while. It is worth for[$]. Take good care of it, and it will stay last longer :)

I would think if smeone is going to spend [$] on a brush, they would do their research first. If the previous reviewer would have done this, she would have found this IS a blush brush! The head is the perfect size for that use, and the layering of the hairs make it similar to a skunk blush, known for it's sheer and even application of highly pigmented blushes.I would die for this brush. Ok, ok, maybe not quite, but I refuse to use anything alse to apply my (very large) collection of blushes, if you know anything about brushes you'll realize this is the best blush brush you could ever buy.I've had it for something like a year, not a hair has fallen off, not once have I had spotty blush, I travel with it and it doesn't break, it's still as soft as the first day and I adore the thin, flexible handle and the shown respect for the artistry of traditional japanese brushes. If I'll ever buy anothe blush brush, it will be a hand made, traditional yachiyo brush directly from Japan!
Pros
- Applies Evenly

- Poor Quality

Comments about NARS Kabuki Artisan Brush, Yachiyo, 1 ea:
This brush is not worth the money. It's smaller than the picture would indicate. It does not compare in size to a normal kabuki brush, it's probably half the width and not as dense. The best use is for blush application, not bronzer or foundation. It also feels very fragile -- I don't travel with it for fear that it might break in a make-up bag.
