Gives a GREAT tan for one day.......Takes about the whole can... Expensive stuff for it only giving color for one day. I was dissapointed.

My husband helped spray the tanner on, which helped give a perfect tan on places that are almost impossible to reach. It's the best tanner I've used yet. It does make a mess in the tub but that is easily resolved by rinsing off with the shower head. I'm glad companies are finally making products that don't smell so badly that it makes you want to not use anything rather than smelling all day and staining your clothes. This product gives an excellent, natural color, doesn't smell, and doesn't rub off on your clothes. Good stuff!

I have tried many sunless tanners over the years so far back to when there were not even drugstore brands and everything had to be bought at the department store cosmetic counters. I had high hopes for this product based on the popularity of their salon treatments. Bottom line - no better - and in some ways, worse than drugstore brands. The "3-step" process is time consuming and produced very uneven color. The spray does pool and drip. I have drugstore brand sprays that go on more evenly and spray at any angle as well. The base step seems to be a bunch of hype over essentially a moisturizer so that your dry ares do not absorb more product - which did not seem to make any difference than applying any other product over clean, exfoliated skin. The directions to apply the step 3 "Boost" twice a day to enhance your tan is interesting - would you not get the same results with any other sunless lotion applied twice a day? Consumers should realize that ALL sunless tanners work because of one ingredient - DHA. That is why ultimately, no matter how great smells at first, once on the skin for awhile, pretty much all have the same scent. DHA is DHA - cannot change its molecular structure and still get the same result.

This had a nice color but the spray bottle was used up almost immediately. For the price, there should have been more product. The lotion was nice but didnt really give any color as it was just a color enhancer. Wouldn't buy again unless the price went way down.

I purchased this kit to use before my wedding. I have used plenty of self-tanners before, so knew that I needed to try it out before the big day! I tested it on my face and neck and knew by the next morning that this product would be easy to use and give a great color. I have since tanned my entire body and it looks great. Be sure to follow all of the directions and do it in your shower!

Take it from Pasty White here who always turns orange when she reaches for sunless self-tanners – this product from Mystic Tan is awesome. I spray and I go from pasty white to a perfect natural golden brown!! No orange, no streaks. I’m hooked. :o) The full color takes a few hours to fully show up but when it does its nice! Looks like you just walked in from the beach, and there’s no horrid burn involved… And, the color from one application lasts about 4-5 days and then slowly starts to fade away, but if you reapply it stays. :o)
The Base is refreshing, goes on clear without any funky smells, and dries quickly too. The Build (spray) takes a little practice and a little getting used to (and, can be messy if you’re like me and don’t follow the directions the first time around…) but once you get the spray action down its pretty easy. It sprays a “mist” that covers the entire area evenly and doesn’t leave any streaks. You have to let the spray dry or else your clothes will end up with the tan instead of you, but it only takes maybe 5-10 minutes to dry. The Boost is pretty intense – a little bit goes along way and gives your skin a really nice shimmer and glow. Like I said, I’m hooked. My pasty white days may be numbered…
