My mother needed an eye cream for daily use and I was searching this website for a good cream with a good brand. I found this eye cream and thought it was a good product, or at least what was said about this eye cream. Eventually my mother used this product for a few weeks, with little results; she didn't like the product for a few reasons. One, it didn't absorb into her skin and she said it was easy to rub off. Two, it wasn't that effective since it didn't absorb into the delicate area around the eyes. She recommended YSL's Temps Majeur's line, though those products are pricey (400$+) they are the most effective products she's ever used.

After just over a week's use, I've noticed I need hardly any concealer for my dark circles. While I haven't noticed a dramatic reduction in wrinkles skin texture is improving. Very happy with results so far!

I use retinol treatments regularly, but, even after many years of use, I cannot use them around my eyes without getting "crepey" skin that makes me look 15 years older than I am. I've been using retinol in various different concentrations for over 7 years, but I still cannot tolerate higher potency retinols around my eyes. Retinol causes the skin beneath my eyes to peel, dry-out, get lined and "crepey", and sting like crazy. I guess I desperately want to forestall the signs of my ageing, because, idiotically, I keep attempting to use my strong retinols around my eyes. This last attempt was especially bad, because it took longer for the negative side effects to occur, but when they did, they were worse than ever. In fact, I'm still a little paranoid that I've done permanent damage. Early last week, the skin above my eyes was swollen, and looked like rough leather, and the skin beneath my eyes was virtually raw, pinkish, and just about invisible beneath all the nasty white flakes. I have low (and lowering) eye lids, and no eye crease to speak of, so the swollen lids were actually bothering my vision. ( And so much for worrying about ageing ruining my appearance...) I was unable to apply anything around my eyes without singeing them and even Vaseline couldn't stop the flaking. I've always really liked Murad Resurgence Eye Cream, but I hadn't been using it lately because I didn't want the extra retinol (on top of the retinol that was distintegrating my skin...?) So much for trying to be my own personal cosmetic chemist. In desperation, I decided to use Murad Resurgence, half expecting it to burn like hydrochloric acid (its fragrance always makes me think it's going to fizz as it fries my skin), and I was stunned when the exact opposite happened. My skin was immediately soothed, and it felt better within seconds. This cream makes the crepes and puffs dissipate, even after hours of wear. It really helps my morning appearance. My eyes can be sensitive, so I usually avoid products with essential oils or fragrances, but the reason Howard Murad is the most famous dermatologist in the world is not that he's inept. I started using many Murad products years before I knew how to identify the basic function of ingredients in formulations, and there's no doubt that they worked well above and beyond my expectations for non-prescription skin care. When reading the ingredients for Resurgence Eye Cream, I realize that these days I'd probably be afraid to try it, and that would be a shame for me. While I may be able to identify Evening Primrose Oil as an anti-oxidant, I know virtually nothing about cosmetic chemsitry or the delicate science of skin care ingredient synthesis. As is continually proven by this classic brand, the Murad formulators do, and, in many ways, Murad skin care provides the definitive examples of both. I highly recommend this eye cream because it is highly effective for making my skin look and feel much, much better. The cost seems high (it is high) but it's not as bad as it seems because a teeny tiny bit of this cream is all that is needed for application. One bottle lasts for months, even with daily use.

IT WORKS and is definitely worth the price!! (If you are balking at the price, add up all the potions you have bought in the past year (that DIDN'T work.) Gather them all up, throw them away, and invest in the MURAD line! After a month, my skin is smooth, less lines, smaller pores, tighter skin (very noticeable around the eyes!) and no acne (in itself, worth it's weight in gold)! I am approaching middle age and am glad Jeff mentioned this and I tried this! WOW! YOU will be happy, too! Warning: this does sting a bit when you first start using it, but it will eventually normalize.
