I have never tried a product like this, but every winter I take a vacation to a very sunny spot and want to spend time on the beach. At that time of year I am very white and have a fair complexion to boot. So in addition to my usual high SPF sunscreen, I tried this product. Sometimes I get a rash when I am in the sun too much, too soon, but the year I used this product I did not develop that rash nor did I burn. Again, used sunscreen religiously as well.

This stuff actually makes me more sensitive in the sun. I burn when I take it, and normally I don't burn. :(
