For Dull Skin: Make a clean sweep with this exfoliating wash that gently and thoroughly dissolves skin impurities. |
$36.00
Make a clean sweep with this exfoliating wash to gently but thoroughly dissolve surface impurities. Cleanse and smooth to refine. This gentle but efficient exfoliator works two ways. Salicylic, lactic and glycolic acids encourage clarity and brightness by dissolving skin cell buildup. Jojoba beads further polish and retexturize. My aesthetist started me on Murad but was out of the cleanser.[...] Within a week of beginning using this cleanser day and night, my horrible blemishes and whiteheads/blackheads began to stop. What a relief. The container says to use this product 2 to 3 times a week but I was in an emergency situation and using it twice a day 7 days a week has helped me immensely! This product not only has little granules in it to help exfoliate the skin and hit those blackheads, but it also contains salicylic acid in it, which I now know that I need. I also suggest that you purchase the clarifying lotion and moisturizer. Great product!

This product might have been great, however....I'm currently using the Murad Acne Complex system, but was having problems getting rid of some stubborn blackheads. After asking a "skin care professional" if this would help, she advised yes, and to alternate this product with the Acne Cleanser that is a part of the kit. Ok. Worth a shot! Right? Wrong!!! For me, it just completely worked against my program, and made me break out BAD. So if you are currently using the Murad Acne Complex System, I wouldn't recommend alternating this into the schedule. Maybe it's fantastic for those using it alone. Not for me.

Comments about Murad APS AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser, 6.75 oz:
Even though this product is an exfoliating cleanser, it is certainly gentle enough to use morning and night--which I do. The exfoliating beads are rounded and smooth--they do not scratch the face like some exfoliators. The consistency is very creamy and smooth. This cleanser is my Go To, and I am never without it--even when I travel abroad.

Comments about Murad APS AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser, 6.75 oz:
This is my favorite "go to" exfoliating cleanser. The cleansing beads are extremely gentle but effective; it rinses off well and leaves my skin feeling soft and supple, not dry. I use it night and day, unlike some exfoliating cleansers that are recommended for use only occasionally.
Caveat: If you are looking for scratchy walnut shells, this cleanser is NOT for you.

Comments about Murad APS AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser, 6.75 oz:
The cleanser is really great for exfoliation. I've noticed that my face is really soft and more even toned after a month of usage.I haven't noticed any significant improvement with my pores, but my face looks a lot more radiant. I try not to use it more than once a day because it can be very drying and a little (smaller than pea-sized amount) goes a long way. The sample sized (about the size of a small squeeze tube of lipgloss) I received lasted me 5 months and I used it once a day, every day.

Comments about Murad APS AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser, 6.75 oz:
This is fabulous for exfoliating. It isn't harsh, but I does scrub! I'm using it 2-3 times a week, and I can feel the difference in the texture of my skin. After I use it, and the dead cells are gone, I use my richest night time moisturizer to really treat the new surface.

Comments about Murad APS AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser, 6.75 oz:
I have been trying exfoliating cleansers like this one since I was a teenager (so for 30 years!). I love this one because it's the perfect consistency and has the perfect amount of exfoliating particles - not too much, not too little. I love exfoliators that lather, and this one lathers great AND scrubs great (doesn't feel too rough yet still feels like it's doing something!). Yes, it's kind of pricey, but Murad is a great line.
