In middle age I develped acne rosasea. What a nightmare! I tried everything, even a prescription from a dermatologist. Nothing worked! A friend told me to try Murad. I sent for the kit, which contains this spot treatment. A miracle! Within days my skin improved and, in about 2 weeks, my skin was clear. I continue to use the cleanser and the kit system. I never had skin issues as a teen, so now I can truly empathize. The kit is a little pricey but, if you get the results I did then it's worth every penny!
This spot treatment is great for those in between breakouts, and/or with the kit.

This was included in the Murad Kit I bought. Within my whole 4 week trial of Murad, this way the worst of the kit. It did nothing on any of my blemishes, even after three days. After a couple days of using this twice daily, my blemish was just as red as it was before. Plus, it was slightly irritating. It is also priced a little high compared to other spot treatments. Will not buy/use ever again! However, it didn't dry out my skin terribly like some other spot treatments, so I gave it two stars.

Comments about Murad Acne Spot Treatment, .5 fl oz:
I have used this product before and was expecting more. It works, but not fast, and you have to keep reapplying it. Not a major wow, but for mild blemish control, I say give it a try. Not harsh at all. It does leave a residue once dry, but can be picked off.

Comments about Murad Acne Spot Treatment, .5 fl oz:
I cannot use benzoyl peroxide due to my very sensitive skin, but this works just as well. It does have a slightly sulfur-y odor to it after it has been on the skin for a few minutes, but if I use it at night on a pimple, the red spot is diminished significantly in two days. It can be drying if used more than once a day. I tried other products due to Murad's higher price tag, but I've returned because nothing works so well on my hormone-induced adult acne. Best advice: put it on when you start to feel a spot forming under the skin. It won't emerge.

Comments about Murad Acne Spot Treatment, .5 fl oz:
I like Murad's acne products and for the most part, think they work pretty well. This one is dissapointing -- didn't see any difference. I still think the best on the spot acne medicine is Clean & Clear's Persagel.

This is the only thing I find that works overnight for new breakouts. By the next morning, the new breakout is noticeably smaller and less red. I LOVE this stuff!

I've been using this for a while. It goes on without any major residue, there is minimal smell associated with it and it works very well. I had to buy another when I ran out - I've tried others, but they haven't worked as well as this brand.

Comments about Murad Acne Spot Treatment, .5 fl oz:
I tried this product on my skin for only a few days and it literally burned the areas that had acne. They scabbed over and now I'm afraid I will have scars there forever. It didn't heal anything faster - it just irritated my skin terribly. I would not recommend buying this product at all.
Comments about Murad Acne Spot Treatment, .5 fl oz:
I found this product in the 60 day kit. It was the best product in the kit. Glad to see it is sold separately. I have sensitive dry skin but this worked great. Dries pimples quickly and leaves no marks.
Comments about Murad Acne Spot Treatment, .5 fl oz:
There are some sulfur products out there that dry out skin less and work just as well as or better than this product, but this product still works, and it is reasonably priced for the size (last a while).
