I love this little travel plastic lash curler. I can curl my lashes with this plastic curler after I apply mascara and my lashes stay curled all day. This is very easy to use with minimal pinching. For reference I have Asian almond-shaped eyes.

Comments about Model in a Bottle Eye Lash Curler, 1 ea:

I found that of all the eyelash curlers I have, this is the best portable one. I like the pad it has. Doesn't seem to pull your eyelashes out. This is key when you have sparse eyelashes. It is a firm pad with just enough give. It looks like it will last longer than the rubber variety pads.i like its small size.
BUT, it broke at the hinge after I'd had it a fairly short time (and I wasn't pressing too hard when it happened). This was the biggest disappointment because I was just getting used to it and it had huge potential. The similar mini Japonesque eyelash curler seems to be made of a stronger material, but is flatter in profile. I have rounded eyes, so it doesn't work for me as this one does. And it's pad seems to draw out eyelashes.
As far as profiles go, this one has a shallower curvature than your classic metal eyelash curler. But it is slightly rounded.
I would recommend this if it were made of a sturdier material
