The glove helps apply the lotion evenly and the color is instantly great, but all the golden bronze washes off come rely in the first shower. It is also supposed to be a self tanner and I didn't see anything after I would shower. It does dry quickly but it still rubs off on clothes. I used it before bed hoping for the gradual tan to show up and it didn't. There is almost no smell so that was great in comparison. This is a really good product if you want a temporary bronze glow.

Wow! I am extremely fair and only turn red/burn in the sun. I have literally tried every single different brand of self tanner out there, regardless of price, and THIS one, THIS is the the first one I've ever raved about! Unlike what all the others "say" they do (and do NOT do!), this one really does it all! I used the mitt that comes with it and it goes on evenly, easily and FAST! By the time you rub it all in it's dry! No wandering around the house with the shades down waiting. I used to spend SO much time exfoliating and being so totally careful with everything I did, only to still have streaks and an awful smell that made me not want to get into my bed without a shower. I did both legs, from start to finished & dry in about 6 minutes! I had a great glow and put another layer on right then. And it smells like VANILLA SUGAR! No joke! And the scent is very light and pleasant. It goes on so light&silky and blends so easily, I tried it on my extremely touchy face...No breakouts! This product is worth every last penny and then some. LORAC, please don't stop making it! It's worth it's weight in gold! (Golden tan, even!)
