The gloss goes on easily with the applicator and lasted pretty long. I am just not a big fan of the glitter used in these types of gloss in order to produce the shine quality. Glitter can wander onto parts of your face other than your lips, and when the gloss atarts to wear off, the glitter remains. It looks really gorgeous when you apply it, though, so it was worth it!
