It really annoys me that people review products that they don't even use! Or, don't know how to use. (Read the other reviews)
I absolutely LOVE LORAC! It stays on well, but I do recommend using an eyeshadow primer with this brand. The pigments are rich, and smudge easily, but that's not a bad thing. A little goes a LONG way, which in my opinion makes the higher price worth it.
I wear drugstore brand makeup everyday, EXCEPT eyeshadows. I am a self proclaimed eyeshadow snob and not ashamed to say it. LORAC, and Too Faced are particularly great brands. Too Faced being my all time favorite, but this is a close second.
The colors are rich and shimmery, and being that this is BAKED eyeshadow, NO IT WILL NOT GO ON HEAVY IF YOU USE IT DRY. But that's how baked shadows are SUPPOSED TO BE! If you want them heavy, wet your brush. Try it, you won't be mad about it.

I bought this with the hope that the little black palette had some intensity to the colors but I found them to be more neutral than intense. The eyeshadows go on smoothly and apply nicely, but they do crease after a while. I would suggest and eye spackle underneath this. The overall effect is nice but rather "shiney" since the colors are more metallic based. this palette is nice and I think geared for evening eye-wear because of the metallic effect but it is more subtle than I expected.

I have no use for shiny metallic eye shadow. I did not try this. I gave it to a college student. What a huge waste of money. I wish the description or the photo had mentioned that it was metallic. The package is not in plastic, and although it looks untouched, I was not comfortable returning it, for fear that I would not get any credit. Rather than send it back and lose postage as well as the original cost possibly, I just gave it away.
