Be warned, this tin is tiny--maybe the size of a silver dollar (though much deeper). It's packed with solid shea butter, though, and a little of that goes a long way. Especially if you only use it for problem areas and touchups--cuticles, hands, small dry patches and the like. The size also makes it a good thing to keep around in a purse or clutch. It's unfragranced, but does leave a wonderful, very subtle natural shea butter smell. (Buttery, a little nutty, but a bit herbal also.) I'm a convert!
I love the way the product melts in your hands--not to greasy oil, but still to something more spreadable than beeswax (which is what it looks like at first). Very effective moisturizing, absorbs quickly and easily for this kind of thing (meaning it's not as quick as most lotions, but it also moisturizes deeper). Not a bad buy, though I wouldn't call this a steal.
Like all solid tins, this gets a bit messy--I hate having to dig out little flecks of lint and whatnot from it. This is the one minus. But then, I wouldn't like it better in a tube or bottle, so I can't say there's a better option...

Comments about L'Occitane Shea Butter Body Moisturizer, 100% Pure Shea Butter, .26 oz:
This product surely moisturizes well but it's not as big as I thought. I obviously should have read the size more carefully, but I could fit several of them in the palm of my hand. That also makes it a bit harder to use since you have to pull the top off the tiny disk and then try to create some "lather" to get it on your fingertip. I use it on my hands in dry weather and it works well but I would have liked a slightly larger size.

I love L'occitane 100% Shea Butter in the little tin. I use it as a cuticle remover on my toes. It has no smell and it moisturizes any part of your body. I like the little tin because it is handy and it lasts longer than you would think.

Comments about L'Occitane Shea Butter Body Moisturizer, 100% Pure Shea Butter, .26 oz:
I bought this product after reading about the benefits of pure shea butter in the treatment/prevention of eczema/dermatitis. I have been battling a severe case of dermatitis on my eyelid area. Although I have a prescription that cleared it up, the L'Occitane pure shea butter has played a vital role in keeping this sensitive area super moisturized and has calmed the itching that comes along with eczema. A little goes a long way...just pinch a bit from the tin, warm between fingertips and pat on area of concern. This was the first time I had tried this product and will not be without it.

Comments about L'Occitane Shea Butter Body Moisturizer, 100% Pure Shea Butter, .26 oz:
My boyfriend uses this stuff on his cuticles and it has worked wonders where all other moisturizers have failed. It stays put, does its job, and doesn't smell girly. I'm coming back for another batch for him!Another reviewer said theirs smelled rank. It's an organic compound so it can go bad if left to itself long enough, so you probably got a gone over tin. Next time complain to customer service, I guess.

Comments about L'Occitane Shea Butter Body Moisturizer, 100% Pure Shea Butter, .26 oz:
I lke this small size for keeping in my purse and for using as a lip balm. I put it on at night and it lasts through the day. It is much more cost effective for me to use this product rather than other less effective moisturizers that I keep having to reapply. I rarely have to use it in my purse because my night time hand application lasts.

This stuff makes you lip stick look smoother and last longer. Also good on cuticles and rough elbows. For best rsults, warm the product a little bit by rubbing your finger around on top in a circular motion several times, the friction caauses heat wich softens it some.
Really helps control feathering of lipstick.
