I have an extremely sensitive scalp. This product does not aggravate it. It gently cleans my scalp and hair, gently and thoroughly. Seems very light. No heavy perfume, no heavy suds as if you're stripping your hair. Stocked up 'cause I'll be sticking with it for a while. Also recommend the conditioner. Light also. A little goes a long way.
