This color easily brightened up my slightly yellow-toned medium complexion. I loved that it was opaque immediately, so I didn't have to put on a bunch of coats of lipstick to get the true color; it was a beautiful deep rose from the moment I put it on. I will keep this in my cosmetic bag as an everyday lipstick. It also made a great blush when I took a little from my lips and touched up my cheeks with it.
