I have been searching for the perfect face cream for years. My skin is combination with very dry flaky areas around cheeks, and oily area around the T zone. I also tend to get breakouts above my lips. I tried all kinds of creams including organic and oil free with no results.
I used this cream and found it very hydrating and refreshing for my face. I use it on damp skin, because I have found that dampness helps absorb much better. I love this as an overall face cream. However, it doesn't do a good job for dry areas. I apply Nivea over this cream around my cheeks in dry flaking areas, and I also use a separate organic eye cream. While this cream seems to function well as an eye cream as well since it is hydrating, I prefer to use the eye cream as well. I like this a lot and purchased more bottles. It is very very expensive though, and there is little product in the bottle. It doesn't last more than a month. I use it twice a day. So the quantity is very disappointing especially given the price. The bottle is very thick and has less product. But with Beauty.com's $10 off $40 coupons it does become affordable.
I would not recommend this for dry skin, it is good for oily and combination skin.

I have combination skin and have suffered for a few years with dry areas especially around my cheeks especially in winter. After trying several creams, I tried Lierac. I got a facial at Phyto spa that owns Lierac, and the facialist recommended Lierac hydrating balm along with the cleansing water, Démaquillant Douceur. I am new to cleansing water, but the cream felt so hydrating and amazing.
I tried a sample and decided to buy this cream from beauty.com. I use it every morning and night after the cleansing water. It makes my skin very soft and supple, and I feel so fresh and hydrated. The facialist asked me to use it for at least 2 months, I am hoping with increased usage the dry areas will get completely cured. I have been using it for one week, and so far this is the only cream that is not so dry that my face is peeling, nor is it so oily that I have breakouts above my lips, the oily part of my skin. Its the perfect cream for combination skin.

This creme is amazing. I find tha I don't even need eye cream any more, this completely repaclaced it. I leaves my skin very soft and supple, and I always look rested in the mornings. Fine lines are not noticable and overlall skin apprearance improved drasticlally since I atarted using it.

Goes on well, absorbs quickly. I like that this is a product for dry skin that doesn't make my face look oily nor does the product sit on top of my skin for hours as many of the other dry-skin products seem to do. It still moisturizes very well though.
Don't like the scent, don't care for the color. When it comes to facial products, I definitely think less is more and prefer fragrance-free and colorant-free. These additives are just not necessary, thus 1 star deduction.
Other than that: Good product, will buy again.

Wow-I love this moisturizer! I saw this product in [...]and have dehydrated skin so decided to buy it. My skin is more plump and really stays hydrated all day which is huge because I live in a dry climate. My mineral makeup even goes on better since I've been using it. This product is not greasy but very interesting balm texture. Hope this helps

For me, this is a really interesting product. The gel-like form goes on really well. I use it as a day time moisturizer (though it doesn't have SPF) because it works really well to hydrate before applying a primer and mineral foundation. I love the hot pink color. And it feels really great on my skin. I definitely recommend it for anyone with dry skin.

I first tried a sample of this product and loved it. It felt like it plumped up my skin and hydrated. I went ahead and purchase it and I didn't like it as much as when I tried the sample. On the plus side when I wake up in the morning my skin does feel more plump and moisturized. I also like that it's not greasy and it smells very light. On the negative side when I first apply it it doesn't feel as moist. My skin looks almost a little matte.
I've only been using it for about 10 days so I hope that with continued use my skin will respond better.
