Comments about Le Couvent des Minimes Smile Lip Balm, Orange Blossom, .5 oz:

I grew up in southern California when there were more citrus trees than people. The scent of orange and lemon blossoms always gave me joy. Because of the prevalence, most CA honey at that time was orange blossom, and to me, honey should smell just like orange blossom. After all, orange blossoms smell like honey to me!

I use this in my daily facial moisturizing. If I've been inattentive to that routine, then I use it when I notice the need. Recently a dental tool slipped and pierced the skin of my lip, so I used this at least three times a day until my lip healed.

I wouldn't say this is greasy, but I'm not sure how to describe it. Lighter than lotion, on the order of a lip gloss with no colour. I use it sparingly, and if my tongue goes over it before it's sunk in, there's no icky taste.

I first found this in a chain drugstore in LVNV, of all places, when I went to get travel gifts. I squeaked at the cost (more than on this site), but bought a tube, being familiar with Couvent de Minimes products (all of mine are citrus scented--can't imagine why!)

This is my second tube, and won't be the last.

My experience was so much the opposite of Jacki's that I wonder if she might be allergic to some of the ingredients, but then, the mere scent of tea-tree and eucalyptus, as well as peppermint, make me quite ill.

Comments about Le Couvent des Minimes Smile Lip Balm, Orange Blossom, .5 oz:

My old lip balm is not in the market anymore. So I am in search for my new lip balm. I bought this among other lip balms to try and replace my current one. This had a really weird and pungent smell that was really unbearable. It smelled like rotton oranges. I gave it a chance and used it all day as well as before I went to bed. I woke up with blisters and cuts on the top of my upper lip!!!!! I hate this!! I am currently using NUXE Reve de Miel Lip Moisturizing Stick which is cheaper than this horrible product!

    Stay away from this!!
